Shalom friends,
I wanted to created a page that had some of my favorite items to share with others.
Some of this items or sources I have on this page I have discussed on the Live and Uploaded Bible Studies.
I understand that sometimes sources or resources that are authentic and Jewish may be difficult to find….. this page aims to help or assist for those seeking some of the gems and glories that might be hidden in and of Judaism.
I am not paid to endorse any thing on this Bible Study of page unless directed noted. I truly do want to help make others journey or study a little more easy and enjoyable.
Please feel free to message on IG with any questions related to this page. I fully admit I am not an expert, but I will do my best to help take some looks around.
Allllllll….. that being said enjoy:

What Torah and Tanakh I like:
When searching for a Torah there were an abundance of options. So I did what I have learned to do and go to my Father in Prayer. Within no time I was lead to The Stone Edition Chumash. I loving have referred to this on the Bible Study as The Blue Stone Torah, you know …because it’s a beautiful deep Stone Blue color.
I have been using this Chumash for about five years. I love the photos in the back of the books and the charts, and the graphs..oooo my.
I love the commentary by so many of the great Sages of Blessed memory, which I use to assist in my learning and teachings. But, I also love this Chumash; for me makes it very easy to look up listed quotes, references, or sources.
I suggest this Chumash for those who chose to have set times study for Torah learning daily.
In my opinion this Torah Chumash is perfect for Shabbat afternoons that will quickly lead into to evening study sessions.
Why?
It has been my personal experience… the 10 or 15 minute assumed study with this Chumash can quickly turn into…oh it’s dinner time already. #thankyouHaShem

Fun fact:
I rather have a student or pocket sized book.
Read why below.
What I like for beginners to Tanakh and Torah:
In my opinion a great beginner authentic Jewish Bible is the Tanakh JPS or beginner Torah is The Living Torah by Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan. Both of these in my opinion can be use as an easier transition for those who are returning to Judaism from man made religion or beliefs that did not start out with a True Torah foundation. The JPS, I believe is very easy to read and doesn’t not too much Jewish terminology for those who are unfamiliar with Hebrew or a Jewish thought. And The Living Torah, has commentary as well as easy to read text.. that is also not too difficult of a start for those just learning Torah or how to read a more advance Chumash. I do suggest reading the introduction and explanation how to read the Tanakh and Living Torah that is at the beginning of the books to help aid and assist the newer readers.
What I like to use on a daily to increase in Torah:
My current reading for study and fun Tanakh is The Stone Edition Tanach -[Student Size Black] – Anytime, I can get a pocket or student size book I consider myself in for the win!
I travel often or am on the move for daily task or events, as am sure most of us are. It can often be difficult to carry a large book to squeeze in some reading in between lines or waiting times or let’s be honest trying to avoid unpleasant conversations or people.
I decided a while ago instead of mindlessly scrolling on a phone or dealing with unpleasant types people, or lessoning to lashon hara….., I would carry a book with me or ear buds to listen to an educational or religious podcast.
For me carrying a book in my bag or head phones in my belly pack, is a lot easier when in a smaller frame.
Truth be told this Black Stone Tanakh, for me, is far too beautiful to carry around day after day out in town. I would hate to, G-D forbid lose it or have it get ruined…. so I keep it at home. That being said… I do enjoy reading the commentary and translations especially during Shabbos.
How do I do this?
I am glad you asked…
I ensure I have my Stone Edition Tanakh and other boooks ready for my Shabbos reading joyful peaceful far far far away land (in my ind)….are placed ahead of time on my study the table next to my reading chair ready for me to read every Shabbos.
AHHHHHHH! (as I sip coffee or tea. )
An awesome and inviting update: while searching for the hyper link I saw that there is a pocket size paper back edition?!? What!!!!!!!!!! I am saying and not saying this might get added to my cart very very soon.

PRAYER, the offering of petition, confession, adoration or thanksgiving to God.
In the Bible
The concept of prayer is based on the conviction that God exists, hears, and answers (Ps. 65:3; cf. 115:3–7) – that He is a personal deity. In a sense it is a corollary of the biblical concept that man was created “in the image of God” (Gen. 1:26–27), which implies, inter alia, fellowship with God (see *Man, Nature of). Although prayer has an intellectual base, it is essentially emotional in character. It is an expression of man’s quest for the Divine and his longing to unburden his soul before God (Ps. 42:2–3 [1–2]; 62:9[8]). Hence prayer takes many forms: petition, expostulation, confession, meditation, recollection (anamnesis), thanksgiving, praise, adoration, and intercession. For the purpose of classification, “praise” is distinguished from “prayer” in the narrower, supplicatory sense, and “ejaculatory” from formal, “liturgical” prayer. But the source is the same; in its irresistible outpouring, the human heart merges all categories in an indivisible “I-Thou” relationship. Thus prayer and praise may intermingle (I Sam. 2:1–10) and supplication and thanksgiving follow in close succession (Ps. 13:1–5, 6). Indeed many scriptural passages might be called “para-prayers” – they seem to hover between discourse and entreaty (Ex. 3:1–12), meditation and petition (Jer. 20:7ff.), or expostulation and entreaty (Job, passim). It has been estimated (Koehler-Baumgartner) that there are 85 prayers in the Bible, apart from 60 complete psalms and 14 parts of psalms that can be so termed; five psalms are specifically called prayers (Ps. 17, 86, 90, 102, 142). But such liturgical statistics depend on the definition given to prayer.

Where I get Jewish books for children:
My go to site to find used books is Thriftbooks.com . To find Jewish books, I type in Jewish books for children or a specific topic like: Jewish Holidays for Children or Jewish Living or Jewish History ….and poof… a ton of titles pop up. I load my cart and wait for that wonderful delivery or books that will no doubt lead to wonderful family moments learning and growing in Judaism with our children. #thankyouHaShem!
I have been using this site for years and I’m sure have saved greatly. If others use the link provided it helps us buy more books to study, review, and or share! Plus, there are other discounts for teachers and homeschoolers; so check it out.
Of course I love…. Artscroll! I can not even say how much I love this site! I subscribed to the email list for this site and I happily get updates on titles. and deals every week. I enjoy being able to share the titles and research books and or course purchase! I fully admit I have been getting some practice in self control since discovering this site.

If I had a my way… that entire Artscroll library would be in my Spanish Castle, next to a beautiful river, on rich land green (like a peaceful meadow), just far enough from a city to visit family and friends and shops, but far enough away to not be interrupted reading.
PJ Library About: PJ Library sends free Jewish children’s books to families across the world every month. We know that something magical happens when parents sit down together to read with their children.
I love PJLibrary, for some sweet and easy reading with children. One can select which books to order, read reviews, and after reading submit their reviews. I think it’s fun learning all around!
Shalom Homeschoolers and educator friends,
I wanted to create a portion of the page that had some of my favorite items to share with others regarding Jewish homeschooling.
Some of this items or sources I have on this page I have discussed on the Live and Uploaded Bible Studies.
I understand that sometimes sources or resources that are authentic and Jewish may be difficult to find….. this page aims to help or assist for those seeking some of the gems and family that might be hidden in and of Orthodox Judaism.
I am not paid to endorse any thing on this Bible Study of page unless directed noted. I truly do want to help make others journey or study a little more easy and enjoyable.
Especially, for homeschooling when trying to find a system that not only works but is functional to a busy fast pace kind of life.
Please consider this page a helpers, and suggestions. The last thing anyone who is homeschooling needs is unrealistic pressure of expectations… we do that enough to ourselves… am I right?
So please remember… this is to help and suggest and assist and add ease to ones homeschooling life. There is no cookie cutter way to homeschool. Every family has different needs, in different seasons, and of course different states have different requirements also.
Please feel free to message on Facebook or IG with any questions related to this page. I fully admit I am not an expert, but I will do my best to help take some looks around.

My Suggested Read and Study List for Conversion to Orthodox Judaism:
The books listed below I have in my personal library. Many of the books listed below have been suggested to me by several different Rabbis, and Rabbetzins, and by others how have converted to/ from different sects of Judaism. I also added a couple of my personal favorites that I have mentioned on the Bible Study.
I gravitate and love Orthodox Judaism.
I believe and Pray to only one G-D…. The G-D of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob Great and mighty awesome G-D.. I find the Torah loving, living, and true and I fully believe in The Yigdal... to name a few. I may not understand everything, nor am I an expert, but I have fully trust that where I fall short HaShem’s Arm is long enough to reach me. I research and like to study other sects of Judaism, but Orthodox is what has been the sweetest to me.
