Welcome back to Marie Speaks G-d’s Grace Bible Study.
This lesson we continue in second sermon of Moses’, of Blessed memory, speech to the Nation of Israel, before His death and the Nation of Israel, carrying on into the Promise Land. This lesson we will review the final portion of Deuteronomy Portion of the Bible Study. The Torah Reading will be: Shoftim: Deuteronomy 16:18 – 21:9 with a reading of the Haftarah: Isaiah 51:12 – 52:12.

In this Bible Study we will be going over: Devarim (Deuteronomy) chapter 21 verses 1 thru 9.
I entitled this Bible Study…
Devarim chapter 21 verses 1 thru 9:
Only in Eretz Yisrael…. if it is not known.
Why?
I am glad you asked…..
Certain laws are only applicable to the Bene (Children, or Sons of, or Men, or Males of) Yisarel (Israel -tribe, land, and nation) in the Land (Eretz- land or clay, as an individual or governmental operating nation) and territories of Israel (with standaing functioning Temples of HaShem).
Tooooo be clear-
The same Laws apply to the individuals outside of the land of Israel… (in practice preparations) to once again be in the Land of Israel, but not as a certain applied daily living factor, which of the Law if violated would amount to the same measured and insurance of consequence.
This may seem a bit confusing to some, but we will go over observation and weight of the measurements to the Laws of HaSh em(Blessed be HE), in direction from Our Merciful Father and Creator HaShem, in the upload video of the class.
Also, in this lesson we will review the importance or truth, insurance of justice, and how we are in the eyes of HaShem Almighty, accountable to and for one another.
I love definitions so let’s look at a couple to ensure we have a decent basic understanding of the text.
Insurance
Insurance as a noun:
: coverage by contract whereby one party undertakes to indemnify or guarantee another against loss by a specified contingency or peril
for example: The contract is your insurance against price changes.
Insurance as an:
adjective …….. a certainty of an outcome or position or state of mind or concept
for example : being a score that adds to a team’s lead and makes it impossible for the opposing team to tie the game with its next score

What to expect this Bible Study.
We have not fully returned to a full schedule, but I would like to ease into Season 6…..therefore we will be calling this part of the Season 5.5… hahahahahaha!
It will not be a full schedule, but at least we have the warm up, because summer isn’t hot enough… right?!?!
But, once we get rockin and rollin……
We will continue to increase in our intro Hebrew vocabulary, intro Hebrew terminology, Tanakh (the actual …. Jewish Bible.. that means no “new testament”) introduction, and Torah Spiritual Teaching.
Before we begin the Study of the Torah a Blessing is done. In saying the Blessing we are for filling a mitzvah and Blessing HaShem, of Glory and Truth’s beautiful Torah. A Mitzvah is defined basically as:
A commandment of the Jewish law.
The fulfillment of such a commandment.
A worthy deed.
I, say these Blessings every morning during my morning prayers. And, to ensure I am not leading others into to improper practices, I want to ensure I repeat the Blessings of HaShem, Our Merciful Father’s Torah just incase others may not have yet had a chance today.
Blessings of the Torah:
Blessed are You, HaShem our God, King of the Universe, Who sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us to be engrossed in the words of Torah.
HaShem our God, please make the words of Your Torah pleasant in our mouths and in the mouths of Your people Israel. And may we and our descendants [and the descendants of our descendants] and the descendants of Your people the House of Israel, all know Your Name and be students of Your Torah for its own sake. Blessed are You, HaShem Who teaches Torah to His people, Israel.
Blessed are You, HaShem our God, King of the Universe Who chose us from among all the peoples and gave us His Torah. Blessed are You, HaShem, Giver of the Torah!
Blessing before the reading of the Torah:
Bor’chu es ado-noy ha-m’voroch. Bless the L-rd who is blessed.
Congregation and Oleh say: Boruch ado-noy ha-m’voroch l’olom vo-ed. Blessed be the L-rd who is blessed for all eternity.
Oleh continues: Boruch atoh ado-noy elo-haynu melech ho-olom, asher bochar bonu mikol ha-amim, v’nosan lonu es toroso. Boruch atoh ado-noy, nosayn ha-toroh. Blessed are You, L-rd our G‑d, King of the universe, who has chosen us from among all the nations and given us His Torah. Blessed are You L-rd, who gives the Torah.

Portion of a Portion:
Devarim Chapter 21: Verses 1 thru 9
If a corpse is found in the land that Adonoy, your God, is giving you to inherit, fallen in the field, it is not known who smote him. Your elders shall go out—and your judges—and measure in the direction of the cities around the corpse. Now, the city nearest the corpse—the elders of that city are to take a calf-heifer that has not been worked, that has not drawn [with] a yoke. The elders of that city will take down the calf to a stony valley that is not to be tilled and not to be seeded, and they shall decapitate the calf in that valley. The kohanim, descendants of Levi, will approach; because them did Adonoy, your God, choose to serve Him and to bless in Adonoy’s Name; and they will decide every dispute and every nega. And all the elders of that city, those near the corpse, will wash their hands over the calf beheaded in that valley. They will loudly declare, ‘‘Our hands have not spilled this blood and our eyes did not see.’’ [The kohanim will say,] ‘‘Forgive Your people Yisroel, whom You, Adonoy, have redeemed; and do not allow innocent blood [liability] within Your people Yisroel.’’ The blood shall thus be atoned for in their behalf. Still, you must eradicate the [liability for] innocent blood from within you, when you do what is upright in Adonoy’s eyes.
Commentary:
The murder of a Jew is a tragedy for the entire community, and if it was in any way due to neglect or indifference, everyone must feel a share of the guilt. Such mishaps occur due to the sin in the camp, of which the elders are held directly and spiritually responsible by Almighty G-d.
Ever wonder why G-D forbid, bad things happen?
Selah…….
Therefore, they( the elders), must atone for the entire camp (sins), request forgiveness from Almighty G-d, and reset (threw obedience, seeking justice, serving judgement if necessary, and applicable Torah prescribe atonements for all parties), to include the land.
Yes, even the land grieves when a death or any sin occurs (G–D forbid) on it’s soil.
as we read in earlier Torah:
Cain said to his brother Abel … and when they were in the field, Cain set upon his brother Abel and killed him.
יהוה said to Cain, “Where is your brother Abel?” And he said, “I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper?”
“What have you done? Hark, your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground!
Therefore, you shall be more cursed than the ground, which opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.
If you till the soil, it shall no longer yield its strength to you. You shall become a ceaseless wanderer on earth.”
The text of Jeremiah of Blessed memory, states because of the dead body on the land…the land aches and moans for justice. We have review before that G-d’s beautiful (Spirit) Ruach, is in all of HIS creations that love, praise , and acknowledge HIM (alone) Only, as KING!
The measuring:
Let’s look at the of measure definitions to understand the physical and spiritual command of to measure out.
measure:

The Elders measured: in………..super nature occurrence, distance, prayer, dance, music, deed, cause, influence, society, past, further, present, and so on…. to ensure complete and entire and whole WHOLY….atonement for the murder in Eretz Yisrael was completed as to for fill the commandment of HaShem, Blessed be HE.
At least, 5 members of The Great Sanhedrin, make the measurements (physical and spiritual) to investigate a murder.
Thus I will execute judgment on Egypt; And they shall know that I am GOD.

Congratulations! you have made through another Bible Study! Sounds some Praise and Joy to Our Father who is in Heaven! Glory to the One and Only Living G-D… HaShem!

14What must be poured out hastened to be opened, and he shall not die of destruction, and his bread shall not be wanting.

22So said your Master, the Lord, and your God Who shall judge His people, “Behold, I took from you the cup of weakness; the dregs of the cup of My wrath-you shall no longer continue to drink it.
23And I will place it into the hand of those who cause you to wander, who said to your soul, ‘Bend down and let us cross,’ and you made your body like the earth and like the street for those who cross.”
Yeshayahu (Isaiah) Chapter 52
1Awaken, awaken, put on your strength, O Zion; put on the garments of your beauty, Jerusalem the Holy City, for no longer shall the uncircumcised or the unclean continue to enter you.
2Shake yourselves from the dust, arise, sit down, O Jerusalem; free yourself of the bands of your neck, O captive daughter of Zion.
3For so said the Lord, “You were sold for nought, and you shall not be redeemed for money.”

9Burst out in song, sing together, O ruins of Jerusalem, for the Lord has consoled His people; He has redeemed Jerusalem.
10The Lord has revealed His holy arm before the eyes of all the nations, and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.
11Turn away, turn away, get out of there, touch no unclean one; get out of its midst, purify yourselves, you who bear the Lord’s vessels.
12For not with haste shall you go forth and not in a flurry of flight shall you go, for the Lord goes before you, and your rear guard is the God of Israel.
“The L-d bless you and keep you; The L-d make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The L-d lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ’
“So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.”
In HaShem and HaShem’s alone Mighty Glorious Name.

May HaShem, Blessed be He, continue to Bless us all and may we all be forever written in the Book of Life.

A little about me: I love HaShem, TORAH, and Tanakh!!!!! I am not perfect!!!!
If we meet: We talking about Torah, drinking tea or coffee, and what books are out about HaShem! Proverbs 22: 4 thru 6
The effect of humility is fear of the LORD,
Wealth, honor, and life.
Thorns and snares are in the path of the crooked;
He who values his life will keep far from them.
