What to expect this lesson?

This lesson we begin the second sermon of Moses’ of Blessed memory speech to the Nation of Israel before His death and the Nation of Israel carrying on to the Promise Land. This lesson will review the remaining verse of the portion Deuteronomy (Eikev) began at Devarim 7:12 thru 11:25, Haftarah: Isaiah 49: 14 thru 51:3. The next Portion will begin in next Bible Study Re'eh Deuteronomy 11:26–16:17, Haftarah: Isaiah 54:11 - 55:5.

I believe this Bible Studies main concept is the order we receive from HaShem, Blessed be He; is self. Ordinarily most think that self is a negative, shameful, or conceded concept. Something, only the most selfish are concerned with, but in Judaism... self is important, valuable, and the only one that can held accountable for ones sins and blessing. Yes, self can be a good and G-dly thing.

We will continue to increase in our intro Hebrew vocabulary, intro Hebrew terminology, Tanakh (the actual ….Jewish Bible) introduction, and Torah Spiritual Teaching. I have added to the Blog news letter the Blessings Before and after reading the Torah.

This weekly Jewish terminology word will continue this next portion of the season.

Good morning Children of G-d!

Today we are not going to go over our Jewish terminology for the week in the BLOG, but I am trying to have a post and podcast video ready by the time of a live Bible Study for this BLOG.

 Blessings of the Torah:

Why Blessings of the Torah?:

Before we begin the Study of the Torah a Blessing is done. In saying the Blessing we are for filling a mitzvah and Blessing HaShem of Glory and Truth’s beautiful Torah.  A Mitzvah is defined basically as:

  1. A commandment of the Jewish law.
  2. The fulfillment of such a commandment.
  3. A worthy deed.

I say these Blessings every morning during my morning prayers. And to ensure I am not leading others into to improper practices, I want to ensure I repeat the Blessings of HaShem Our Merciful Father’s Torah just incase others may not have yet had a chance today.

Blessings of the Torah:

Blessed are You, HaShem our God, King of the Universe, Who sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us to be engrossed in the words of Torah.

HaShem our God, please make the words of Your Torah pleasant in our mouths and in the mouths of Your people Israel. And may we and our descendants [and the descendants of our descendants] and the descendants of Your people the House of Israel, all know Your Name and be students of Your Torah for its own sake. Blessed are You, HaShem Who teaches Torah to His people, Israel.

Blessed are You, HaShem our God, King of the Universe Who chose us from among all the peoples and gave us His Torah. Blessed are You, HaShem, Giver of the Torah!

Blessing before the reading of the Torah:

Bor’chu es ado-noy ha-m’voroch.
Bless the L-rd who is blessed.

Congregation and Oleh say:
Boruch ado-noy ha-m’voroch l’olom vo-ed.
Blessed be the L-rd who is blessed for all eternity.

Oleh continues:
Boruch atoh ado-noy elo-haynu melech ho-olom, asher bochar bonu mikol ha-amim, v’nosan lonu es toroso. Boruch atoh ado-noy, nosayn ha-toroh.
Blessed are You, L-rd our G‑d, King of the universe, who has chosen us from among all the nations and given us His Torah. Blessed are You L-rd, who gives the Torah.

Let us begin with today’s lesson!

Bible Study Handbook Sources I love to use are linked below as well as on our website. I did take the advice from others and create a page to the website that titled What Marie Likes.I wanted to create a page that had some of my favorite items to share with others.

Some of this items or sources I have on this page I have discussed on the Live and Uploaded Bible Studies.

I understand that sometimes sources or resources that are authentic and Jewish may be difficult to find….. this page aims to help or assist for those seeking some of the gems and glories that might be hidden in and of Judaism.

I am not paid to endorse any thing on this Bible Study of page unless directed noted. I truly do want to help make others journey or study a little more easy and enjoyable.

Please feel free to message on Facebook or IG with any questions related to this page. I fully admit I am not an expert, but I will do my best to help take some looks around.

Allllllll….. that being said enjoy:

 Devarim  (Eikev)

Chapter 7 verses 12 thru 26

Verse: 12 In the future, as a consequence of your heeding these laws, and your guarding and fulfilling them; Adonoy, your God, will guard for you the covenant and the kindliness that He swore to your forefathers.

commentary:  12 “this shall be your reward when you hearken to these ordinances” and “you observe” and “perform them”.   HaShem, your G-d will safeguard you, the covenant, and the kindness that He has sworn to your father’s…… you shall receive. (paraphrased)

This verse is a conditional procedure contractual obligation verse. This verse states it’s clearly to who is initiating the contract and it has a condition that if the individual party accepts the contract there are requirements in maintaining that contract.

There clearly is an individual obligation.

So in this verse is one wasn’t clear from the previous books of the Torah…. we are being told the following:

Who is the preparer of the contract.

What are the limitations of the contractee and contractor.

 And

what are the consequences for not adhering to the proscribed conditions of the contract.

There clearly is an individual obligation.

We further find out if we still and maintain in good standing of the covenant contract I am also to inherit the blessings al ready stored up from my ancestor line.

 Very simple….. in my opinion

Not only is it a beautiful conditional contract clearly stated, it has, and will be reintroduced and or explained……annually.

 And re-accepted annually……. forever

Of course for and  to all those who willingly wish to remain in the contract.

Not to change G-d’s word because we are not supposed to, but this verse could easily be read in replacing the you with an I.

When I follow the ordinances.

When I hearken onto the voice of G-D.

When I choose to follow G-d’s word ……..then I will be blessed.

Why?

Because no one can atone for me, my, or yourself…. since I am the one who willingly entered into the contract. Therefore I am the only one who can only for fill the obligations of the contract. The contract is between me and G-d.

Remember vows and contracts?

We review in Leviticus ch 2: Halley’s Handbook, Geneva 1560, & Torah (Meal or Soul Offering & Salt Covenant) that requirement of covenants. In class LIVE: Numbers chapter 30: Vows: Wife, Father, and Spouse. (Hold me now) , we review vows. For those who click on and watch the previous classes to avoid any confusion… those classes were before my conversion and there is jc talk so… fyi in advance warning for those who might not want to hear. I completely understand.

Moving on as a brief vow review…

Each vow entered into is a contract. The contract must must be willingly entered into. No lying, or deception, or force can committed in order to get participants to take or make a vow.  Be an adult living on their own or religious leader of the community. Both and or all parties must be fully aware of all the requirements and agree to openly. This agreement must be  witnessed and archive in document or verbal form. There is far more that can be reviewed on vows and contracts or covenants, but this is the bare bone minimum that has to happen.

Those who say grace is free and you only need to believe…. hmmmm that’l be a no.

Any religion or thought process or group or club or whatever they may state they are, that says anything contrary to an individual’s personal obligation within the covenant of HaShem ……..and the contractual obligations that are stated in Torah; they are blatantly profaning the word of G-d. One hundred percent.

No one can for fill a contract or be obligated to a contract that I, myself have signed.

Living G-D… Living Contract

An important fact to understand is the contract we have entered into with HaShem is a living contract.

We have to care for the created contract just as if it were a new born baby.

Clean it, wash it, feed it, cloth it, dress it, celebrate it nurture it…. I think you get the point.

And just like that beautiful baby grows and ages and matures… guess what… so does the contract.

This is where in my opinion many get lost or remain dormant or become stunted.. and wonder why that baby ain’t growing and thriving… Well, look in the mirror.

ouch tough love, but it’s very very true.

But, G-d forbid if someone does the complete opposite of the contract that they had accepted.

When one party does not meet the contractual obligations of a contract that contract is voided.

When someone G-d forbid lapses payments, or doesn’t feed, or doesn’t nurture, or abuses the contract; that contract can die or be greatly sick or be repoed.

 Positive and Negative

And this living contract can be a positive or negative. Guess what, as we said before HaShem will always for fill His end of the contract.

What many apparently forget is even if we  for short of the contract obligations… HaShem won’t ….. ever.

Which means for those who choose to not hearken unto His voice, they are  fully opened up to consequences.  They are opened up to curses. They are opened up to correction supernaturally and naturally.  They are opened up to plagues, and temptations, rebukes, dishonor, dismay, shame the list goes on and on .

And if G-d forbid one persists to refusal their correction they might enter in the category where that contract can be made revoked while here on Earth. We’re not talking about the spiritual site of the contract at this point, but as far as an earthly existence. That contract can be removed for example King Saul is a perfect example of a contract and agreement being cancelled.

Saul’s willful intentional repeated disobedience to HaShem’s commandments his contract was removed and he was no longer allowed to be given the blessing of a kingly line.

verse 13:

He will love you, and bless you, and multiply you; and He will bless the fruit of your belly and the fruit of your soil—your grain, your wine, and your olive oil—the offspring of your cattle, and the herds of your sheep, upon the soil that He swore to your forefathers to give you.

commentary: G-d will love you. Bless you and your animals too shall receive blessings. As well as your  offspring and your land shall receive blessings; if you obey.

verse 14: You will be blessed more than all the peoples; there will not be among you a sterile male or a barren female, nor among your animals.

commentary: You, I us, we…. will be the most blessed of all people in your, our… land ……our, your area, and or our, your territory.  This means your job, your vacation time, grocery shopping, star watching, books reading….. wherever you go!…. you will be the 1st to be blessed;……. if you obey.

There is an individual condition. and an individual obligation.

verse 15 thru 20: Adonoy will remove from you all illness; and all the harmful diseases of Egypt that you know, He will not place upon you, but will give them to all your enemies.

You will consume all the peoples that Adonoy, your God, is giving you; do not take pity on them. Do not serve their gods, because they are a snare for you. Perhaps you may think to yourself, ‘‘These nations are more numerous than I, how can I inherit them?’’

Do not fear them. Recall well what Adonoy, your God, did to Pharaoh and to all the Egyptians.

The great tests you witnessed, and the signs and the wonders and the strong hand and the extended arm with which Adonoy, your God, took you out; so will Adonoy, your God, do to all the peoples that you are afraid of.

Also the tzir’oh will Adonoy, your God, send against them, until the destruction of those who survive and hide from you.

Do not be intimidated by them, for Adonoy, your God, is amid you, the great and fearsome Almighty.

Adonoy, your God, will expel these nations before you, gradually; you will be unable to exterminate them rapidly, lest the wild animals multiply against you.

Adonoy, your God, will defeat them before you, and will confuse them with great confusion until they are destroyed.

He will put their kings in your hand, and you will eliminate their name from beneath the heavens; no man will stand up to you until you have destroyed them.

Burn the statues of their gods in fire; do not covet the silver and gold upon them and take it for yourself, lest you be ensnared by it, because it is abominated by Adonoy, your God.

Do not bring abomination into your house [lest] you become cheirem like it; thoroughly revile and abominate it, for it is cheirem.

Definitions so there is no confusion of what we are being order to do or how we are being order to think or act… towards idols and idolatry and idolators.

Define loathe – to dislike greatly and often with disgust or intolerance : DETEST

Define abomination : something regarded with disgust or hatred , extreme disgust and hatred

Definition of ban: to prohibit especially by legal means, also : to prohibit the use, performance, or distribution of

commentary: It is clear to me what HaShem wants us…. what are your thoughts? Any minds changed as to correction of previous miss teachings? Or perhaps others are seeing how other religions are completely and utterly against the One and Only True Living G-D?

Let me know in the comments… I’d love to hear your thoughts.

 enclosing

I do Pray others enjoyed these teachings. Please remember to like heart and share.

In-conclusion,

I am left with the same thoughts that I have had since Season 1.

Everyone has a choice… and everything has a choice.

Accept the Torah, turn from evil and do good, or even chose this day whom one shall serve.

In any case…. some will chose the Life in Torah with HaShem. and… sadly some will chose the sword.

OAmein and OAmein

Blessings after reading the Torah.

Haftarah: Isaiah 49:14 thru 51:3

But Żiyyon said, The Lord has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me.

Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? even these may forget, yet I will not forget thee.

Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.

Thy children make haste; thy destroyers and they that made thee waste go away from thee.

Lift up thy eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together, and come to thee. As I live, says the Lord, thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them on, like a bride.

For thy waste and thy desolate places, and thy devastated land, shall now be too narrow for the inhabitants, and they that swallowed thee up shall be far away.

The children that were taken away from thee shall say again in thy ears, The place is too narrow for me: make room for me that I may dwell.

Then shalt thou say in thy heart, Who has begotten me these, seeing I have lost my children, a solitary, an exile, and a wanderer to and fro? and who has brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where have they been?

Thus says the Lord God, Behold, I will lift up my hand to the nations, and set up my standard to the peoples: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried on their shoulders.

And kings shall be thy foster fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their face towards the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the Lord: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me.

Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the captive of the victorious delivered?

But thus says the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contends with thee, and I will save thy children.

And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunk with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I, the Lord am thy deliverer and the mighty One of Ya῾aqov is thy redeemer.

chapter 50

Thus says the Lord, Where is the bill of your mother’s divorcement, with which I have put her away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have you sold yourselves, and for your transgressions was your mother put away.

Why, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish rots, because there is no water, and dies for thirst.

I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering.

The Lord God has given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to sustain him that is weary: he wakens morning by morning, he wakens my ear to hear as the learned.

The Lord God has opened my ear, and I was not rebellious, nor did I turn away.

I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.

For the Lord God has helped me; therefore have I not been confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I knew that I should not be ashamed.

He is near that justifies me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is my adversary? let him come near to me.

Behold, the Lord God will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall grow old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.

Who is there among you that fears the Lord, that obeys the voice of his servant, that walks in darkness, and has no light? let him trust in the name of the Lord, and rely upon his God.

Behold all you that kindle a fire, and that girdle yourselves around with sparks; walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that you have kindled. This came to you from my hand; you shall lie down in grief.

Chapter 51

Hearken to me, you that follow after righteousness, you that seek the Lord: look to the rock whence you are hewn, and to the hole of the pit from which you were dug out.

Look to Avraham your father, and to Sara that bore you: for he was but one when I called him, and I blessed him, and increased him.

For the Lord shall comfort Żiyyon: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like ῾Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness shall be found in it, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.

The Priestly Blessing

And  HaShem our G-D spoke to Moses, saying: “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them:

“The L-d bless you and keep you;
The L-d make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The L-d lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.” ’

“So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.”

For those that are new to this Bible Study.

Welcome, the following is a brief review of this Bible Study.

1. This BLOG post will have the resources and sources links for the Season 5 Bible Studies .

2. All Books used and Readings from during Live Bible Study can be found on Our

Website: Marie Speaks GOD’s Grace. Live in the Season 5 portion of the website.

 3. After Live Bible Studies have completed: I will upload to Rumble, and post link in this BLOG.

How we conduct Bible Studies here:

We believe in One and Only One G-D. HaShem; The G-D of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

We do not and will not Pray in any others name or Praise any other, but HaShem.

Exodus chapter 20: 2-14.

God spoke all these words, saying:

I the LORD am your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, the house of bondage:

You shall have no other gods besides Me.

You shall not make for yourself a sculptured image, or any likeness of what is in the heavens above, or on the earth below, or in the waters under the earth.

You shall not bow down to them or serve them. For I the LORD your God am an impassioned God, visiting the guilt of the parents upon the children, upon the third and upon the fourth generations of those who reject Me,

but showing kindness to the thousandth generation of those who love Me and keep My commandments.

We believe G-D has called each of us to search matters out.

(It is the glory of God to conceal a matter,
And the glory of a king to plumb a matter.

Like the heavens in their height, like the earth in its depth, Is the mind of kings—unfathomable.. Proverbs 25:2 -3)

This is one reason why here at Marie Speaks G-D’s Grace Bible Study, we review several historical references and resources, of which we provide links and or screen shots for others to study at their leisure.

We have been directed by G-D Wonderful and Almighty, to go Book by Book, Verse by Verse; sharing HIS Torah and Tanakh.

We believe as directed by G-D Our Heavenly Father, learning and growing in Torah and Tanakh leads to understanding and wisdom; this shall only be achieved in reading, studying, and sharing HIS Word for ourselves; not relying on man.

Learning, growing, and studying with OUR L-D is to be done with others that are like minded, but more so during our personal time.

The BLOGs are written to assist those just beginning to study the BIBLE as a starting point. The Live or recorded Bible Studies are to cover and release opportunities and guidance, but ultimately is ones own personal responsibility to rule, govern, and be purposeful in their relationship with G-D.

Proverbs 22: 4 thru 6

The effect of humility is fear of the LORD,
Wealth, honor, and life.

Thorns and snares are in the path of the crooked;
He who values his life will keep far from them.

Train a lad in the way he ought to go;
He will not swerve from it even in old age.

Ezekiel 18: 20 thru 22

The person who sins, he alone shall die. A child shall not share the burden of a parent’s guilt, nor shall a parent share the burden of a child’s guilt; the righteousness of the righteous shall be accounted to him alone, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be accounted to him alone.

Moreover, if the wicked one repents of all the sins that he committed and keeps all My laws and does what is just and right, he shall live; he shall not die.

None of the transgressions he committed shall be remembered against him; because of the righteousness he has practiced, he shall live.

Is it my desire that a wicked person shall die?—says the L-d G-D. It is rather that he shall turn back from his ways and live.

May HaShem, Blessed be He continue to Bless us all and may we all be forever written in the Book of Life.

A little about me: I love HaShem, TORAH, and Tanakh!!!!! I am not perfect!!!!

If we meet: We talking about Torah, drinking tea or coffee, and what books are out about HaShem! And maybe over some kosher pizza… maybe over some kosher steak…make over super sweet kosher cake ……. have a fun laugh about you guess it… Torah! Or on a bike, or  during a hike,  or while riding on a train in the rain as the rain falls nicely on the plain in Spain….., but either way…..We’ll be talking about TORAH!!!!

What is import to me:……..A relationship with Our Father  HaShem Our Merciful Creator, Savior, and Wise King. Live in Torah, live with Family and community of Tribe.

My thoughts: We may not be perfect, but we study, we learn, we laugh, & we grow; we try try and have the courage to try again.

My goals: To learn and grow and share Love of Torah in HaShem with others who are willing or open to hearing.

I have been using the minds.com account and
