Devarim 1:1-3:22
Devarim means words.
Time frame: 40th year while in the desert ,1st day, and 11th month( Shebat (February).
What are the words: 3 Sermons spoken to the Nation of Israel, before they cross over lead by Joshua (Prophet) and the son of Aaron, Eleazar ( Hight Priest)
After these sermons the Nation of Israel, will have an 11 day journey to canaan.
At the end of this book, Mose will climb Mount (har) Nebo.
Who or what Tribes and Clans lived around the area and in the Promised Land?
Canaanites and their tribe/ clans:
Genesis chapter 6 verses 1 thru 8:
When humankind began to increase on earth and daughters were born to them,
the [males among the] divine beings*divine beings Others “sons of God.” saw how pleasing the human women were and took wives from among those who delighted them.—
יהוה said, “My breath shall not abide*abide Meaning of Heb. uncertain. in humankind forever, since it too is flesh; let the days allowed them be one hundred and twenty years.”—
It was then, and later too, that the Nephilim appeared on earth—when divine beings cohabited with the human women, who bore them offspring. Such were the heroes of old, the men of renown.
יהוה saw how great was human wickedness on earth—how every plan devised by the human mind was nothing but evil all the time.
And יהוה regretted having made humankind on earth. With a sorrowful heart,
יהוה said, “I will blot out from the earth humankind whom I created—humans together with beasts, creeping things, and birds of the sky; for I regret that I made them.”
But Noah found favor with יהוה.
Enoch CHAPTER VI.
1. And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters. 2. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: ‘Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men and beget us children.’ 3. And Semjâzâ, who was their leader, said unto them: ‘I fear ye will not indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.’ 4. And they all answered
p. 35
him and said: ‘Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.’ 5. Then sware they all together and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. 6. And they were in all two hundred; who descended ⌈in the days⌉ of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. 7. And these are the names of their leaders: Sêmîazâz, their leader, Arâkîba, Râmêêl, Kôkabîêl, Tâmîêl, Râmîêl, Dânêl, Êzêqêêl, Barâqîjâl, Asâêl, Armârôs, Batârêl, Anânêl, Zaqîêl, Samsâpêêl, Satarêl, Tûrêl, Jômjâêl, Sariêl. 8. These are their chiefs of tens.
Enoch CHAPTER VII.
1. And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them, and they taught them charms and enchantments, and the cutting of roots, and made them acquainted with plants. 2. And they became pregnant, and they bare great giants, whose height was three thousand ells: 3. Who consumed all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them, 4. the giants turned against them and devoured mankind. 5. And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and fish, and to devour one another’s flesh, and drink the blood. 6. Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones.
I reference the above books to better understand the descents of evil that the Nation of Israel will be warring against once in the Land of Canaan. The canaanite tribes were in no way shape of form…. mere “common day evil”; no. The canaanites and their many tribes and clans were giants… the off spring of fallen angels… that every fiber of their demonic being was concentrated evil.
Genesis 15:18- 19 list the canaanite tribes as:
On that day
YHWH cut a covenant with Avram, saying: I give this land to your seed, from the River of Egypt to the Great River, the river Euphrates, the Kenite*the Kenite …: Canaanite tribes, here presented as a round ten in number. and the Kenizzite and the Kadmonite, and the Hittite and the Perizzite and the Refa’ites, and the Amorite and the Canaanite and the Girgashite and the Yevusite.
*** Note: When one reads of these tribes in the Bible, please keep in mind these tribe people were over ruled by the list of many demonic and evil worship of the gods below. Meaning…. if they did not personally worship the god below they participate in the service or in some manner support in the worship of these demonic gods. One as a member of these above listed tribes, could not exist amongst others and not have a public devotional commitment to these evil gods***
What were the many canaanite gods:

As a side note: please pay attention to the names of companies or products. There are no consequence?. If a product or company has the name or many version or symbols of the canaanite god name…yes that product or company has been curses and everything is produces is intend for evil. #buyerbeware

Tanakh
Deuteronomy
chapter 1
Devarim
verses 1 thru 2. These are the words that Moshe addressed to all of Yisroel across the Yardein; [as he had] in the wilderness— on the Arava plain facing Suf; [and as he had] between Poron and Tofel and Lovon and Chatzeiros and Di Zohov.
eleven days [traveling time] from Choreiv by the Mount Seir road, to Kadeish Barnei’a.
verses 3 thru 10. [Beginning] in the fortieth year, in the eleventh month, on the first of the month, Moshe addressed Bnei Yisroel with every detail that Adonoy had commanded him [to say] to them.
After he had smitten Sichon, King of the Emorites, who was living in Cheshbon; and Og, King of the Boshon, who was living in Ashtoros, in Edrei.
Across the Yardein in the land of Moav, Moshe began to elucidate this Torah as follows:
Adonoy, our God, addressed us at Choreiv, saying, ‘‘Enough of your living at this mountain!
Turn and travel for yourselves and arrive at the Emorite hill [region] and at all its neighbors—on the plain, on the mountain, and in the lowland, and in the Negev, and on the seacoast; the land of the Canaanites and the Lebanon, up to the great river, the Euphrates River.
See, I have set the land before you; come and inherit the land that Adonoy swore to your forefathers, to Avrohom, to Yitzchok, and to Yaakov, to give them and their descendants after them.’’
I said to you at that time saying, ‘‘I cannot carry you by myself.
Adonoy, your God, has multiplied you, and you are today as numerous the stars in the sky.
Second
verses 11 thru 21. Adonoy, God of your forefathers, will add to you one thousandfold, and will bless you as He spoke about you.
How can I carry alone your troublesomeness, your burdensomeness, and your contentiousness ?
Provide yourselves men, wise and understanding and renowned to your tribes, and I will designate them your leaders.’’
You replied to me and said, ‘‘[It is a] good thing that you said to do.’’
I took the leaders of your tribes, men wise and renowned, and designated them leaders over you: masters of thousands and masters of hundreds, and masters of fifties and masters of tens, and court officers for your tribes.
I commanded your judges at that time, to say, ‘‘Listen between your brothers and you are to judge right between a man and his brother and between his complainant.
Do not show favor in judgement; small and great alike will you hear out; do not fear any man; for justice belongs to God. And the matter that will be too difficult for you, present to me and I will hear it.’’
I commanded you at that time all the things that you are to do.
We traveled from Choreiv and walked the entire great wilderness, that awesome one that you saw, in the direction of the Emorite hill [region] as Adonoy, our God, commanded us; and we arrived at Kadeish Barnei’a.
I said to you, ‘‘You have arrived at the Emorite hill [region] that Adonoy, our God, is giving us.
See! Adonoy, our God, has set the land before you. Go up, inherit [it] as promised by Adonoy, the God of your forefathers, about you; do not fear and do not tremble.’’
Class of Exodus ch 17 Geneva Bible 1560 Bible Study & Halley’s Handbook, & Torah Spiritual Teaching. This class discussion the Bible Lesson on the above text.
Third
verses 22 thru 38. You approached me, all of you, and said, ‘‘Let us send men ahead of us to spy out the land for us, and let them bring back word to us: the route we are to go up on and the cities we will be coming to.’’
The idea pleased me, so I took from you twelve men, one man per tribe.
They turned and went uphill and arrived at Wadi Eshkol, and they spied it out.
They took in their hand some fruit of the land and brought [it] down to us. They brought back word to us and said, ‘‘Good is the land that Adonoy, our God, is giving us.’’
But you were unwilling to go up, and you defied Adonoy, your God.
You grumbled in your tents and said, ‘‘Because of Adonoy’s hatred of us, He took us out of the land of Egypt to put us in the hand of the Emorite to destroy us.
Where are we going up to? Our brothers have shattered our hopes by saying, ‘A people greater and more powerful than we, cities great and fortified sky-high, and also descendants of the Anakim—did we see there.’’’
I said to you, ‘‘Do not crumble and do not fear them.
Adonoy, your God, who goes before you, He will wage war for you, as in everything that He did with you in Egypt before your eyes;
and in the wilderness, as you have seen, (where) Adonoy, your God, carried you the way a man carries his son all along the road you went until you arrived at this place.
Yet in this matter, you do not trust Adonoy, your God,
Who has been going ahead of you on the road to seek for you a place to encamp; with the fire at night to show you the way for you to go on, and with the cloud by day.
Adonoy heard the intent of your words and angrily swore, to say:
‘‘That [no] man will see—of these men, this wicked generation—the good land that I swore to give to your forefathers.
Except for Koleiv ben Yefuneh, who will see it, and to whom I will give the land that he trod upon and to his sons, because he perfected himself in fear of Adonoy.’’
Also at me was Adonoy angry because of you, to say, ‘‘You, too, will not arrive there.
Yehoshua son of Nun, who attends you, he will arrive there. Encourage him, for he will apportion it to Yisroel.
The class in the Book of Numbers that we covered regarding this text : Numbers ch 13: Twelve Spies Sent to Canaan. giants, DNA, and as in the Days of Noah.
Fourth
verses 39 thru 46 As to your infants, about whom you said, ‘They will become spoils,’ and your children who cannot distinguish today good from evil, they will arrive there; and to them will I give it and they will inherit it.
As for you, turn yourselves [around], and travel into the wilderness by the Yam Suf road.’’
You replied and said to me, ‘‘We have sinned to Adonoy. We will go up and wage war in [fulfillment of] all that Adonoy, our God commanded us.’’ And each of you girded his weapons, and you got ready to go up the mountain.
Adonoy said to me, ‘‘Say to them, ‘Do not go up and do not wage war, for I am not in your midst; so that you will not be shattered by your enemies.’’’
I told you, but you did not obey. You defied Adonoy, and deliberately went up the hill.
The Emorites came out—those who live in those hills—toward you, and chased you as the bees do; and they crushed you in Se’ir till Chorma.
You returned and wept before Adonoy, but Adonoy did not accept your prayer; He paid no attention to you.
You lived in Kodeish many years, like the years you lived [elsewhere].

The TORAH verses below are for those who like to read or study the TORAH during their own time. For the shake of avoiding repeating the verses, I will only go over the verse GOD HaShem highlighted to us for this Bible Study.
Haftarah: Isaiah chapter 1 verses 1 thru 27
The prophecies of Isaiah son of Amoz, who prophesied concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.
Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth,
For the LORD has spoken:
“I reared children and brought them up—
And they have rebelled against Me!
An ox knows its owner,
An ass its master’s crib:
Israel does not know,
My people takes no thought.”
Ah, sinful nation!
People laden with iniquity!
Brood of evildoers!
Depraved children!
They have forsaken the LORD,
Spurned the Holy One of Israel,
Turned their backs [on Him].
Why do you seek further beatings,
That you continue to offend?
Every head is ailing,
And every heart is sick.
From head to foot
No spot is sound:
All bruises, and welts,
And festering sores—
Not pressed out, not bound up,
Not softened with oil.
Your land is a waste,
Your cities burnt down;
Before your eyes, the yield of your soil
Is consumed by strangers—
A wasteland aEmendation yields “like Sodom overthrown.”as overthrown by strangers!-a
FairbLit. “Daughter.” Zion is left
Like a booth in a vineyard,
Like a hut in a cucumber field,
Like a city beleaguered.
Had not the LORD of Hosts
Left us some survivors,
We should be like Sodom,
Another Gomorrah.
Hear the word of the LORD,
You chieftains of Sodom;
Give ear to our God’s instruction,
You folk of Gomorrah!
“What need have I of all your sacrifices?”
Says the LORD.
“I am sated with burnt offerings of rams,
And suet of fatlings,
And blood of bulls;
And I have no delight
In lambs and he-goats.
That you come to appear before Me—
Who asked that cOthers “To trample My courts? / 13Bring no more vain oblations.”of you?
Trample My courts
no more;
Bringing oblations is futile,-c
Incense is offensive to Me.
New moon and sabbath,
Proclaiming of solemnities,
dSeptuagint “Fast and assembly”; cf. Joel 1.14.Assemblies with iniquity,-d
I cannot abide.
Your new moons and fixed seasons
Fill Me with loathing;
They are become a burden to Me,
I cannot endure them.
And when you lift up your hands,
I will turn My eyes away from you;
Though you pray at length,
I will not listen.
Your hands are stained with crime—
Wash yourselves clean;
Put your evil doings
Away from My sight.
Cease to do evil;
Learn to do good.
Devote yourselves to justice;
eMeaning of Heb. uncertain.Aid the wronged.-e
Uphold the rights of the orphan;
Defend the cause of the widow.
“Come, eMeaning of Heb. uncertain.let us reach an understanding,-e
—says the LORD.
Be your sins like crimson,
They can turn snow-white;
Be they red as dyed wool,
They can become like fleece.”
If, then, you agree and give heed,
You will eat the good things of the earth;
But if you refuse and disobey,
fOr “you will be fed the sword.”You will be devoured [by] the sword.-f—
For it was the LORD who spoke.
Alas, she has become a harlot,
The faithful city
That was filled with justice,
Where righteousness dwelt—
But now murderers.
YourgI.e., Jerusalem’s. silver has turned to dross;
eMeaning of Heb. uncertain.Your wine is cut with water.-e
Your rulers are rogues
And cronies of thieves,
Every one avid for presents
And greedy for gifts;
They do not judge the case of the orphan,
And the widow’s cause never reaches them.
Assuredly, this is the declaration
Of the Sovereign, the LORD of Hosts,
The Mighty One of Israel:
“Ah, I will get satisfaction from My foes;
I will wreak vengeance on My enemies!
I will turn My hand against you,
And smelt out your dross hEmendation yields “in a crucible”; cf. 48.10.as with lye,-h
And remove all your slag:
I will restore your magistrates as of old,
And your counselors as of yore.
After that you shall be called
City of Righteousness, Faithful City.”
iOthers “Zion shall be saved by justice, / Her repentant ones by righteousness.”Zion shall be saved in the judgment;
Her repentant ones, in the retribution.jFor this meaning cf. 5.16; 10.22.

And HaShem our G-D spoke to Moses, saying: “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them:
“The L-d bless you and keep you;
The L-d make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The L-d lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.” ’
“So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.”

For those that are new to this Bible Study.
Welcome the following is a brief review of this Bible Study.
1. This BLOG post will have the resources and sources links for the Season 5 Bible Studies .
2. All Books used and Readings from during Live Bible Study can be found on Our
Website: Marie Speaks GOD’s Grace. Live in the Season 5 portion of the website.
3. After Live Bible Studies have completed: I will upload to Rumble, and post link in this BLOG.

How we conduct Bible Studies here:
We believe GOD has called each of us to search matters out.
(It is the glory of God to conceal a matter,
And the glory of a king to plumb a matter.
Like the heavens in their height, like the earth in its depth,
Is the mind of kings—unfathomable.. Proverbs 25:2 -3)
This is one reason why here at Marie Speaks G-D’s Grace Bible Study, we review several historical references and resources, of which we provide links and or screen shots for others to study at their leisure.
We have been directed by G-D Wonderful and Almighty, to go Book by Book, Verse by Verse; sharing HIS Torah and Tanakh.
We believe as directed by G-D Our Heavenly Father, learning and growing in Torah and Tanakh leads to understanding and wisdom; this shall only be achieved in reading, studying, and sharing HIS Word for ourselves; not relying on man.
Learning, growing, and studying with OUR L-D is to be done with others that are like minded, but more so during our personal time.
The BLOGs are written to assist those just beginning to study the BIBLE as a starting point. The Live or recorded Bible Studies are to cover and release opportunities and guidance, but ultimately is ones own personal responsibility to rule, govern, and be purposeful in their relationship with G-D.
Proverbs 22: 4 thru 6
The effect of humility is fear of the LORD,
Wealth, honor, and life.
Thorns and snares are in the path of the crooked;
He who values his life will keep far from them.
Train a lad in the way he ought to go;
He will not swerve from it even in old age.
Ezekiel 18:20thru 22
The person who sins, he alone shall die. A child shall not share the burden of a parent’s guilt, nor shall a parent share the burden of a child’s guilt; the righteousness of the righteous shall be accounted to him alone, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be accounted to him alone.
Moreover, if the wicked one repents of all the sins that he committed and keeps all My laws and does what is just and right, he shall live; he shall not die.
None of the transgressions he committed shall be remembered against him; because of the righteousness he has practiced, he shall live.
Is it my desire that a wicked person shall die?—says the L-d G-D. It is rather that he shall turn back from his ways and live.
May HaShem, Blessed be He continue to Bless us all and may we all be forever written in the
Book of Life.
