How we conduct Bible Studies here:

We believe GOD has called each of us to search matters out.

(The glorie of God is to conceale a thing secret: but the Kings honour is to search out a thing. Proverbs 25:2)

This is one reason why here at Marie Speaks GOD’s Grace Bible Study we review several historical references and resources, of which we provide links and or screen shots for others to study at their leisure.

We have been directed by GOD Almighty, to go Book by Book, Verse by Verse; sharing HIS GOoD News.

We believe as directed by GOD Our Heavenly Father, learning and growing in CHRIST shall only be achieved in reading, studying, and sharing HIS Word for ourselves; not relying on man.

(Luke 9 Then called he his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to heal diseases. And he sent them forth to preach the kingdom of God, and to cure the sick.)  (Matthew 24 4And Iesus answered, and sayd vnto them, Take heede that no man deceiue you. 5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ, and shall deceiue many.)

Learning, growing, and studying with OUR LORD is to be done with others that are like minded, but more so during our personal time.

(Matthew 6:6 But when thou prayest, enter into thy chamber and when thou hast shut thy doore, pray vnto thy Father which is in secret, and thy Father which seeth in secret, shall rewarde thee openly.0

The BLOGs are written to assist those just beginning to study the BIBLE as a starting point. The Live or recorded Bible Studies are to cover and release opportunities and guidance, but ultimately is ones own personal responsibility to rule, govern, and be purposeful in their relationship with GOD, CHRIST, and The HOLYSPIRIT.

1 Corinthians 3:8

He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor.

Proverbs 22:6

Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.

Romans 12:6-8

Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.

Ezekiel 18:20

The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not suffer for the iniquity of the father, nor the father suffer for the iniquity of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.

The Miracles of Moses

While miracles are a conspicuous feature of the Bible, they are not abundant in all parts of the Bible. Miracles (not including prophecies and their fulfillment), are particularly noticeable in four periods, centuries apart:

The period of the Exodus and the conquest of Canaan (Moses and Joshua) The period of struggle against idolatry (Elijah and Elisha)

The period of the Babylonian captivity (Daniel)
The period of Jesus and the Apostles

Aside from Jesus, it has never been given to any man to be the mediator of so many stupendous manifestations of divine power: the 10 plagues on Egypt, the crossing of the Red Sea, the water that was made sweet at Marah, the provision of quail in the Desert of Zin and at Taberah, the manna that was supplied daily for 40 years, the Ten Commandments written on a stone with God’s finger, God’s talking face-to-face with Moses so that Moses’ face shone, to name but a few.

Moses could not have delivered Israel out of Egypt and sustained them in the wilderness

for 40 years without the direct miraculous help of God. But this high privilege, as in the case of the apostle Paul, was accompanied by almost unbelievable suffering.

Here we will review several of the Bible Chapters quoted in the Historical reference portion of the Bible Study. We will review Numbers chapter 32, 34, 35, and Joshua 21. Let us begin…..

Numbers Chapter: 32

Numbers chapter 32 verses 1 thru 5
Nowe the children of Reuben, and the children of Gad had an exceeding great multitude of cattell: and they sawe the lande of Iazer, and the lande of Gilead, that it was an apt place for cattel.
Then the children of Gad, and the childre of Reuben came, and spake vnto Moses and to Eleazar the Priest, and vnto the princes of the Congregation, saying,
The land of Ataroth, and Dibon, and Iazer, and Nimrah, and Heshbon, and Elealeh, and Shebam, and Nebo, and Beon,
Which countrey the Lord smote before the Congregation of Israel, is a lande meete for cattell, and thy seruants haue cattell:
Wherefore, said they, if we haue foud grace in thy sight, let this lande be giuen vnto thy seruants for a possession, and bring vs not ouer Iorde.

Numbers chapter 32 verses 6 thru 19
And Moses said vnto the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, Shall your brethren goe to warre, and ye tary heere?
Wherefore now discourage ye the heart of the children of Israel, to goe ouer into the lande, which the Lord hath giuen them?
Thus did your fathers when I sent them from Kadesh-barnea to see the lande.
For when they went vp euen vnto the riuer of Eshcol, and sawe the land: they discouraged the heart of the childre of Israel, that they woulde not goe into the lande, which the Lord had giuen them.
And the Lordes wrath was kindled the same day, and he did sweare, saying,
None of the men that came out of Egypt from twentie yeere olde and aboue, shall see the land for the which I sware vnto Abraham, to Izhak, and to Iaakob, because they haue not wholly followed me:
Except Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh the Kenesite, and Ioshua the sonne of Nun: for they haue constantly followed the Lord.
And the Lord was very angry with Israel, and made them wander in the wildernesse fourty yeeres, vntill all the generation that had done euill in the sight of the Lord were consumed.
And behold, ye are risen vp in your fathers steade as an encrease of sinfull men, still to augment the fierce wrath of the Lord, toward Israel.
For if ye turne away from following him, he will yet againe leaue the people in the wildernesse, and ye shall destroy all this folke.
And they went neere to him, and said, We will builde sheepe foldes here for our sheepe, and for our cattell, and cities for our children.
But we our selues will be readie armed to go before the children of Israel, vntill we haue brought them vnto their place: but our childre shall dwell in the defenced cities, because of the inhabitants of the lande.
We will not returne vnto our houses, vntil the children of Israel haue inherited, euery man his inheritance.
Neither wil we inherite with them beyond Iorden and on that side, because our inheritance is fallen to vs on this side Iorden Eastwarde.

Numbers chapter 32 verses 20 thru 42
And Moses saide vnto them, If ye will doe this thing, and goe armed before the Lord to warre:  And will goe euery one of you in harnesse ouer Iorden before the Lord, vntill he hath cast out his enemies from his sight:
And vntill the land be subdued before the Lord, then ye shall returne and be innocent toward the Lord, and toward Israel: and this land shalbe your possession before the Lord.
But if ye will not doe so, beholde, ye haue sinned against the Lord, and be sure, that your sinne will finde you out.
Builde you then cities for your children and folds for your sheepe, and do that ye haue spoke.
Then the children of Gad and the children of Reuben spake vnto Moses, saying, Thy seruats will doe as my lorde commandeth:
Our childre, our wiues, our sheepe, and al our cattell shall remaine there in the cities of Gilead,
But thy seruants will goe euery one armed to warre before the Lord for to fight, as my lorde saith.
So concerning them, Moses commanded Eleazar the Priest, and Ioshua the sonne of Nun, and the chiefe fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel:
And Moses said vnto them, If the children of Gad, and the children of Reuben, will go with you ouer Iorden, all armed to fight before the Lord, then when the land is subdued before you, ye shall giue the the lad of Gilead for a possessio:
But if they will not goe ouer with you armed, then they shall haue their possessions amog you in the land of Canaan.
And the children of Gad, and the children of Reuben answered, saying, As the Lord hath said vnto thy seruants, so will we doe.
We will goe armed before the Lord into the lande of Canaan: that the possession of our inheritance may be to vs on this side Iorden.

So Moses gaue vnto them, euen to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, and to halfe the tribe of Manasseh the sonne of Ioseph, the kingdome of Sihon King of the Amorites, and the kingdome of Og King of Bashan, the lande with the cities thereof and coastes, euen the cities of the countrey round about.

Then the children of Gad built Dibon, and Ataroth, and Aroer,
And Atroth, Shophan, and Iazer, and Iogbehah,
And Beth-nimrah, and Beth-haran, defenced cities: also sheepe foldes.

And the children of Reuben built Heshbon, and Elealeh, and Kiriathaim,
And Nebo, and Baal-meon, and turned their names, and Shibmah: and gaue other names vnto the cities which they built.

And the children of Machir the sonne of Manasseh went to Gilead, and tooke it, and put out the Amorites that dwelt therein.
Then Moses gaue Gilead vnto Machir the sonne of Manasseh, and he dwelt therein.
And Iair the sonne of Manasseh went and tooke the small townes thereof, and called them Hauoth Iair.
Also Nobah went and tooke Kenath, with the villages thereof and called it Nobah, after his owne name.

Numbers chapter 34

And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
Commande the children of Israel, and say vnto them, When yee come into the land of Canaan, this is the land that shall fall vnto your inheritance: that is, the land of Canaan with the coastes thereof.
And your Southquarter shalbe from the wildernesse of Zin to the borders of Edom: so that your Southquarter shall be from the salt Sea coast Eastwarde:
And the border shall compasse you from the South to Maaleh-akrabbim, and reach to Zin, and goe out from the South to Kadesh-barnea: thence it shall stretch to Hazar-addar, and go along to Azmon.
And the border shall compasse from Azmon vnto the riuer of Egypt, and shall goe out to the Sea.
And your Westquarter shall bee the great Sea: euen that border shalbe your Westcoast.
And this shall bee your Northquarter: yee shall marke out your border from the great Sea vnto mount Hor.
From mount Hor ye shall point out till it come vnto Hamath, and the end of the coast shall be at Zedad.
And the coast shall reach out to Ziphron, and goe out at Hazar-enan. this shalbe your Northquarter.
And ye shall marke out your Eastquarter from Hazar-enan to Shepham.
And the coast shall goe downe from Shepham to Riblah, and from the Eastside of Ain: and the same border shall descend and goe out at the side of the sea of Chinneereth Eastward.
Also that border shall goe downe to Iorden, and leaue at the salt Sea. this shalbe your land with the coastes thereof round about.
Then Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the lande which yee shall inherite by lot, which the Lord commanded to giue vnto nine tribes and halfe the tribe.
For the tribe of the children of Reuben, according to the housholdes of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad, according to their fathers housholdes, and halfe the tribe of Manasseh, haue receiued their inheritance.
Two tribes and an halfe tribe haue receiued their inheritance on this side of Iorden toward Iericho full East.

Againe the Lord spake to Moses, saying,
These are the names of the men which shall deuide ye land vnto you: Eleazar the Priest, and Ioshua the sonne of Nun.
And ye shall take also a prince of euerie tribe to deuide the land.
The names also of the men are these: Of the tribe of Iudah, Caleb ye sonne of Iephunneh.
And of the tribe of the sonnes of Simeon, Shemuel the sonne of Ammihud.
Of the tribe of Beniamin, Elidad the sonne of Chislon.

Also of the tribe of the sonnes of Dan, the prince Bukki, the sonne of Iogli.
Of the sonnes of Ioseph: of the tribe of the sonnes of Manasseh, the prince Hanniel the sonne of Ephod.
And of the tribe of the sonnes of Ephraim, the prince Kemuel, the sonne of Shiphtan.
Of the tribe also of the sonnes of Zebulun, the prince Elizaphan, the sonne of Parnach.
So of the tribe of the sonnes of Issachar, the prince Paltiel the sonne of Azzan.
Of the tribe also of the sonnes of Asher, the prince Ahihud, the sonne of Shelomi.
And of the tribe of the sonnes of Naphtali, the prince Pedahel, the sonne of Ammihud.
These are they, whome the Lord commanded to deuide the inheritance vnto the children of Israel, in the land of Canaan.

Numbers Chapter: 35

verses 1 thru 8

Levitical Lands and a High Priest to rule over every territory of the Nations of the Children of Israel.

And the Lord spake vnto Moses in the plaine of Moab by Iorden, toward Iericho, saying,
Commande ye children of Israel, that they giue vnto the Leuites of the inheritace of their possession, cities to dwell in: yee shall giue also vnto the Leuites the suburbes of the cities round about them.
So they shall haue the cities to dwell in, and their suburbes shall be for their cattell, and for their substance, and for all their beasts.
And the suburbes of the cities, which ye shall giue vnto the Leuites, from the wall of the citie outward, shalbe a thousand cubites round about.
And yee shall measure without the citie of the Eastside, two thousand cubites: and of the Southside, two thousand cubites: and of the Westside, two thousand cubites: and of ye Northside, two thousand cubites: and the citie shalbe in ye middes. this shalbe the measure of the suburbes of their cities.
And of the cities which yee shall giue vnto the Leuites, there shalbe sixe cities for refuge, which ye shall appoint, that he which killeth, may flee thither: and to them yee shall adde two and fourtie cities more.
All the cities which yee shall giue to the Leuites, shalbe eight and fourtie cities: them shall ye giue with their suburbes.
And concerning the cities which yee shall giue, of the possession of the children of Israel: of many ye shall take more, and of few ye shall take lesse: euery one shall giue of his cities vnto the Leuites, according to his inheritance, which hee inheriteth.

The following Bible verse I associate with a sort of “free range house arrest or temporary excile”. When we review the verse others might see why.

Numbers chapter 35 verses 9 thru 30
And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say vnto them, When ye be come ouer Iorden into the land of Canaan,
Ye shall appoint you cities, to bee cities of refuge for you, that the slayer, which slayeth any person vnwares, may flee thither.
And these cities shalbe for you a refuge from the auenger, that he which killeth, die not, vntill he stand before the Congregation in iudgement.
And of the cities which ye shall giue, sixe cities shall ye haue for refuge.
Ye shall appoint three on this side Iorden, and ye shall appoint three cities in the lande of Canaan which shalbe cities of refuge.
These six cities shalbe a refuge for the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for him that dwelleth among you, that euery one which killeth any person vnwares, may flee thither.
And if one smite another with an instrument of yron that hee die, hee is a murtherer, and the murtherer shall die the death.
Also if hee smite him by casting a stone, wherewith hee may be slaine, and he die, hee is a murtherer, and the murtherer shall die the death.
Or if he smite him with an hand weapon of wood, wherewith he may be slaine, if he die, he is a murtherer, and the murtherer shall die the death.
The reuenger of the blood himselfe shall slay the murtherer: when he meeteth him, he shall slay him.
But if hee thrust him of hate, or hurle at him by laying of wait, that he die,
Or smite him through enimitie with his hand, that he die, he that smote him shall die ye death: for hee is a murtherer: the reuenger of the blood shall slay the murtherer when he meeteth him.
But if he pusshed him vnaduisedly, and not of hatred, or cast vpon him any thing, without laying of waite,
Or any stone (whereby he might be slaine) and sawe him not, or caused it to fall vpon him, and he die, and was not his enemie, neither sought him any harme,
Then the Congregation shall iudge betweene the slayer and the auenger of blood according to these lawes.
And the Congregation shall deliuer the slayer out of the hande of the auenger of blood, and the Congregation shall restore him vnto the citie of his refuge, whither hee was fled: and hee shall abide there vnto the death of the hie Priest, which is anointed with the holy oyle.
But if the slayer come without the borders of the citie of his refuge, whither he was fled,
And the reuenger of blood finde him without the borders of the citie of his refuge, and the reueger of blood slay ye murtherer, he shalbe giltles,
Because he should haue remained in the citie of his refuge, vntill the death of the hie Priest: and after the death of the hie Priest, the slayer shall returne vnto the land of his possession.
So these thinges shall be a lawe of iudgement vnto you, throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
Whosoeuer killeth any person, the Iudge shall slay the murtherer, through witnesses: but one witnesse shall not testifie against a person to cause him to die.

Why prison death row goes against GOD’s Law and Lands are defile?

Numbers chapter 35 verses 31 thru 34
Moreouer ye shall take no recompense for the life of the murtherer, which is worthy to die: but he shalbe put to death.
Also ye shall take no recompense for him that is fled to the citie of his refuge, that he should come againe, and dwell in the lande, before the death of the hie Priest.
So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye shall dwell: for blood defileth the land: and the land cannot be clensed of the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it.
Defile not therefore the lande which yee shall inhabite, For I dwell in the middes thereof: for I the Lord dwel among the children of Israel.

I conclude:

There should be Minor High Priest over every territory. Those who shed blood wickedly should be put to death or the land is defiled and strong holds of evil form. This makes me wonder why certain lands are more evil than others.  Especially, here in America; the prison system is a money making slave complex.  I know may not agree with me and may think this sounds harsh, but I wish GOD’s Laws were still held in place today. One might say, “well then many would be put to death.” But, I say, ” Many might be swayed greatly from acting evil or living wickedly”.

I believe, with a huge grand level of…. almost acceptance or excuses made for those who commit vile acts of evil; these evil ones have been encouraged to breed more evil.  I believe we can see this in the weakness of laws today and the corruption of those who have turned their back on the oaths they once swear.  Those that are corrupt judges, and  lawyers and,  law enforcement; it is becoming where we do have  any one to trust or count on for justice.  I am not saying all or every member in those listed professions are corrupt, but when certain members are corrupt… that corruption is great and seems to be in the highest levels of those occupations.  High enough that the good and Holy Workers seemed to be forced out by the evil ones and replace with more evil wicked corrupt venomous snakes than the last.

Joshua Chapter: 21

Then came the principall fathers of the Leuites vnto Eleazar the Priest, and vnto Ioshua the sonne of Nun, and vnto the chiefe fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel,
And spake vnto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, The Lord commanded by the hande of Moses, to giue vs cities to dwell in, with the suburbes thereof for our cattell.
So the children of Israel gaue vnto the Leuites, out of their inheritance at the commandement of the Lord these cities with their suburbes.
And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron ye Priest, which were of the Leuites, had by lot, out of the tribe of Iudah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Beniamin thirteene cities.
And the rest of the children of Kohath had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, tenne cities.
Also the children of Gershon had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of ye tribe of Naphtali, and out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteene cities.
The children of Merari according to their families had out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelue cities.
So the children of Israel gaue by lot vnto the Leuites these cities with their suburbes, as the Lord had commanded by the hand of Moses.
And they gaue out of the tribe of the children of Iudah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeo, these cities which are here named.
And they were the childrens of Aaron being of the families of the Kohathites, and of the sonnes of Leui, (for theirs was the first lot)
So they gaue them Kiriath-arba of the father of Anok (which is Hebron) in the mountaine of Iudah, with the suburbes of the same round about it.
(But the lande of the citie, and the villages thereof, gaue they to Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh to be his possession)
Thus they gaue to the children of Aaron the Priest, a citie of refuge for the slaier, euen Hebron with her suburbes, and Libnah with her suburbes,
And Iattir with her suburbes, and Eshtemoa, and her suburbes,
And Holon with her suburbes, and Debir with her suburbes,
And Ain with her suburbes, and Iuttah with her suburbes, Beth-shemesh with her suburbes: nine cities out of those two tribes.
And out of the tribe of Beniamin they gaue Gibeon with her suburbes, Geba with her suburbes,
Anathoth with her suburbes, and Almon with her suburbes: foure cities.
All the cities of the children of Aaron Priests, were thirteene cities with their suburbes.
But to the families of the children of Kohath of the Leuites, which were the rest of the children of Kohath (for the cities of their lot were out of the tribe of Ephraim)
They gaue them the citie of refuge for the slaier, Shechem with her suburbes in mount Ephraim, and Gezer with her suburbes,
And Kibzaim with her suburbs, and Bethhoron with her suburbes: foure cities.
And out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh with her suburbes, Gibethon with her suburbes,
Aiialon with her suburbes, Gath-rimmon with her suburbes: foure cities.
And out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, Tanach with her suburbes, and Gath-rimmon with her suburbes: two cities.
All the cities for the other families of the children of Kohath were ten with their suburbes.
Also vnto the children of Gershon of the families of the Leuites, they gaue out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, the citie of refuge for the slaier, Golan in Bashan with her suburbes, and Beeshterah with her suburbes: two cities.
And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishon with her suburbes, Dabereh with her suburbes,
Iarmuth with her suburbes, En-gannim with her suburbes: foure cities.
And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with her suburbes, Abdon with her suburbes,
Helkah with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbes: foure cities.
And out of the tribe of Naphtali, the citie of refuge for the slaier, Kedesh in Galil with her suburbes, and Hammoth-dor with her suburbes, and Kartan with her suburbes: three cities.
Al the cities of the Gershonites according to their families, were thirteene cities with their suburbes.
Also vnto the families of the children of Merari the rest of the Leuites, they gaue out of the tribe of Zebulun, Iokneam with her suburbs, and Kartah with her suburbes,
Dimnah with her suburbes, Nahalal, with her suburbes: foure cities.
And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with her suburbs, and Iahazah with her suburbs,
Kedemoth with her suburbes, and Mephaath with her suburbes: foure cities.
And out of the tribe of Gad they gaue for a citie of refuge for the slaier, Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbes, and Mahanaim with her suburbes,
Heshbon with her suburbs, and Iazer with her suburbes: foure cities in all.
So all the cities of the children of Merari according to their families (which were the rest of the families of the Leuites) were by their lot, twelue cities.
And all the cities of the Leuites within the possession of the children of Israel, were eight and fourtie with their suburbes.
These cities lay euery one seuerallie with their suburbes round about them: so were all these cities.
So the Lord gaue vnto Israel all ye land, which hee had sworne to giue vnto their fathers: and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.
Also the Lord gaue them rest rounde about according to all that hee had sworne vnto their fathers: and there stoode not a man of all their enemies before them: for the Lord deliuered all their enemies into their hand.
There failed nothing of all the good things, which the Lord hath sayde vnto the house of Israel, but all came to passe.

Numbers ch 27:

The Daughters of Zelophehad

By Mendy Kaminker

A group of five sisters boldly approached Moses before the entire Jewish nation. These were the daughters of Zelophehad, the women who were privileged to have a chapter added to the Torah on their behalf: Machlah, Noa, Choglah, Milkah and Tirtzah. Here is their story.

The Division of the Land

It was the fortieth year since the exodus from Egypt, shortly before the Jewish people were to enter the Promised Land. G‑d had informed Moses that each tribe’s territory would be determined, among other things, by lottery. Each man in the tribe would receive a parcel of land in his tribe’s territory. Upon the man’s death, his sons would inherit his property, thus guaranteeing that each plot would remain in the family to which it was originally assigned.

One man, Zelophehad, of the tribe of Manasseh, had only daughters. Zelophehad himself died in the desert (more on that soon), and his daughters were worried that they would not receive a share in the land of Israel. They therefore turned to Moses and requested that they be granted the land that would have gone to their father.

The Torah describes the scene:

They stood before Moses, Elazar the [high] priest, the leaders and the entire congregation, at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, and said: “Our father died in the desert. He was not among those who banded against G‑d among Korach’s group; rather, he died due to his own sin—and he had no sons.

“Why should our father’s name be eliminated from his family because he had no sons? Give us a landholding among our father’s brothers!”

Moses brought their case before G‑d. G‑d spoke to Moses as follows: “The daughters of Zelophehad have spoken correctly. You shall certainly give them a landholding among their father’s brothers, and transfer their father’s inheritance to them.” (Numbers 27:2–7)

In fact, in their merit, the laws of inheritance follow this precedent. From then on, one who died without sons would have his daughters inherit his estate.

Zelophehad’s Sin

His daughters described Zelophehad as having died “due to his own sin.” The Talmud1 cites two opinions as to what this sin was, though both agree that it was done with good intentions.

One view is that Zelophehad was among the ma’apilim, the Jews who attempted to storm the land of Israel. After the sin of the spies,2 G‑d decreed that the Jews would wander in the desert for 40 years, until that generation had died out. Seeing the grievous consequences of their mistake, a group of Jews sought to rectify it. Disregarding Moses’ warning that they would not succeed without G‑d’s blessing, they tried to invade Israel via the mountains. They were driven back and slaughtered by the Amalekites and Canaanites, but their intentions were good.

The second opinion is that Zelophehad was the unnamed man executed for violating Shabbat by gathering wood.3 Here, too, the Midrash4 attributes positive intentions to his act.

According to this Midrash, Zelophehad overheard some Israelites saying that their sentence to wander in the wilderness meant that they were no longer required to observe the commandments. To prove them wrong, he deliberately violated Shabbat, providing an object lesson at the cost of his own life.5

On a more literal level of interpretation, Rashi notes that by pointing out that he was not part of Korach’s revolt, Zelophehad’s daughters wished to stress that their father had sinned alone and not led others astray. Ramban, however, reads their words a little differently: They believed that Moses detested Korach’s sin above all others, and so sought to assure him that their father had not participated.6

Whatever Zelophehad’s sin, it was not severe enough to require that his name be erased from the pages of Jewish history. On the contrary, thanks to his daughters, the name has positive connotations.

The Daughters of Zelophehad

Although few details are given about the sisters themselves, a careful reading of the sources provides a portrait of intelligent and pious women.

The sisters’ intelligence is evident from their clear presentation of their case. Indeed, G‑d Himself endorsed their arguments, saying, “The daughters of Zelophehad have spoken correctly.”

In the various places where the five sisters’ names are listed, they appear in different orders. This is to demonstrate that all five were equal in wisdom and righteousness.7

We are also told8 that although they married late in life, the sisters were all blessed with children.

Most of all, though, Zelophehad’s daughters represent the Jewish women’s love for the Land of Israel. Our sages note the contrast between the men, who were afraid to enter the land and cried, “Let us appoint a leader and return to Egypt,”9 and the women, who were eager to possess the land and even demanded a share in it.

The names of two of the sisters, Noa and Tirtzah, have become popular Israeli names.

Later Developments

Some time after the events described above, Zelophehad’s relatives approached Moses with another concern: Should these women marry into another tribe, their landholdings would end up being transferred into the possession of their sons (who would belong to that tribe), and would be lost to the tribe of Manasseh. Moses relayed G‑d’s response: indeed, Zelophehad’s daughters should marry only within their own tribe. The five of them duly married their cousins.

For the next fourteen years, any woman who inherited her father’s property could marry only someone from the same tribe. After the land was conquered and divided, however, this law ceased to operate; from then on, an heiress could wed any man she pleased. This was officially declared law on the 15th of Av, and indeed it is one of the reasons why we celebrate on this date.

Numbers chapter 27:

27:1
Then came the daughters of Zelophehad, the sonne of Hepher, the sonne of Gilead, the sonne of Machir, the sonne of Manasseh, of the familie of Manasseh, the sonne of Ioseph (and the names of his daughters were these, Mahlah, Noah and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Tirzah)

I love how Jewish literature honors women, wives, daughters, and girls. It seems to me the more I read or hear in sermons of women in Christianity.. women a mostly talked about in a negative way if darkness and pervertedness. It is as if almost every Pastor or elder from almost every religion out there decided that all good looking women are whores and husband stealers, or angry feminist. It is truly sad how in some “churches”, women has been demonized. Those who preach a hatred of women make me wonder what they think about their wife, daughters or mother? Do those individuals have a deep hatred of women? Have they simply incorrectly taught? Do they not know that GOD Himself made both man and woman? Do those who teach hatred a presumed generally applied slut label on all women… ever think that GOD might judge them for teaching slander and baring of false witness?

I wonder these things? It seems to me…those type of “pastors” or whatever their title may be…. have an unleveled unjustified fake Biblical view on women, especially an attractive women. I have never heard those who often speak evil about women… speak as much evil about men who commit the same type of sin. They remind me of the Pharisees who brought only the woman to be stoned for adultery, but somehow forgot to bring the man to be stoned as commanded by HaShem in HIS Law given to Moses.

Moving on….. to a more interesting story the brave and bold daughters of Zelophehad, Tribe of Manasseh.

Numbers chapter 27 verses 2 thru 5
And stoode before Moses, and before Eleazar the Priest, and before the Princes, and all the assemblie, at the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, saying,
Our father dyed in the wildernes, and he was not among the assemblie of them that were assembled against the Lord in the companie of Korah, but died in his sinne, and had no sonnes.
Wherefore should the name of our father be taken away from among his familie, because he hath no sonne? giue vs a possession among the brethren of our father.
Then Moses brought their cause before the Lord.

I want to point out a couple of things I noticed here:

I don’t read anything or anyone forbidding the group of women from approaching what is concerned to be a Holy Place. A Holy Place not only for religious purposes, but a Holy Place that was where high ranking religious leaders are gathered. Perhaps the religious leaders were not engage in a formal act of service. Maybe the religious leaders were merely socializing with one another, in either case; this group of women were not chased off or discourage by those they must certainly would have passed along the way from approaching a Holy Location.

See GOD had Commanded there to be Guards of HIS Holy Army from the Tribes to be place in protection around the Tabernacle. Obviously, anyone approaching who was not supposed to approached… the guards would have acting in defense or at least called in to question a group of individuals approaching a Holy to HaShem location.

I also notice due to the group of women not being rebuked for approaching the Tabernacle, women being in the location of the Tabernacle or approaching the Tabernacle in group of even individually; must have be a normal occurrence or order of daily business. What do I mean by this?

Maybe some women did offerings, or free offerings, or sin offerings? We know that women worked at the Tabernacle working on the Priestly garments, silk making, working in the farming of incense of flowers. And if that does make sense….. GOD said the Levite Tribe was to service the Kohemin. Odds are that some of the Levites would have been women. And we also review the Nazarite Priesthood was Holy unto HaShem and they could be man or woman.

Me, seeing the above in the Bible verses…… again has me wondering why so many religious leaders of today, especially in Christianity seem to preach incorrectly about women in the church system or preach an almost hatred of woman in general. Many of them I have said before are much more harsh and evil speaking about a perhaps sinful woman than they are about a man committing the same sin. I don’t know why that is, but it’s incredibly against what GOD says in the Bible. I would go as far to say it is of the anti-christ serpent system or demonic mind set. Bias has no place in the church body. By GOD’s own WORD, I could hyper link so many Bible verse here and I will.

But just in case, I’ll leave this right here.

Mark 12:14
They came and said to Him, “Teacher, we know that You are truthful and have no personal bias toward anyone; for You are not influenced by outward appearances or social status, but in truth You teach the way of God. Is it lawful [according to Jewish law and tradition] to pay the poll-tax to [Tiberius] Caesar, or not?

1 Timothy 5:21
I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus and of His chosen angels, to maintain these principles without bias, doing nothing in a spirit of partiality.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Numbers 6:2

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman shall separate themselves to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate themselves unto the LORD:

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman shall separate themselves to vow a vow of a  Nazarite, to separate themselves unto the LORD:

(a) Who separated themselves from the world, and dedicated themselves to God: a figure which was accomplished in Christ.

Numbers 6:8

All the days of his separation he is holy unto the LORD.

When ever I have an ignorant person tell me something contrary to what the Word of GOD says about me serving GOD; I remember these verses.

Moving forward…

Numbers chapter 27 verses 6 thru 11

And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,

The daughters of Zelophehad speake right: thou shalt giue them a possession to inherite among their fathers brethren, and shalt turne the inheritance of their father vnto them.
Also thou shalt speake vnto the children of Israel, saying, If a man die and haue no sonne, then ye shall turne his inheritaunce vnto his daughter.
And if he haue no daughter, ye shall giue his inheritance vnto his brethren.
And if he haue no brethren, ye shall giue his inheritance vnto his fathers brethren.
And if his father haue no brethren, ye shall giue his inheritance vnto his next kinsman of his familie, and he shall possesse it: and this shall be vnto the children of Israel a law of iudgement, as the Lord hath commanded Moses.

Because these 5 brave sister, daughters, future wives and mothers; had the Warrior Spirit of YAH to fight for their family name and wealth.. later generations were greatly Blessed. This says so many beautiful possibilities to me, but most to me this Bible Study points out the justice and fairness of GOD. GOD is ALL Our Father. Many seem to think that GOD thinks or acts wickedly and bias something like humans, but I AM so very joyful that GOD is a GOoD and Faithful GOD!!!!

Amen and AMEN.

Let’s review the out come from the brave 5 daughters Zelophehad from the Tribe of Manasseh

Numbers Chapter: 36

Then the chiefe fathers of the familie of the sonnes of Gilead, the sonne of Machir, the sonne of Manasseh, of the families of the sones of Ioseph, came, and spake before Moses, and before the princes, the chiefe fathers of the children of Israel,
And saide, The Lord commanded my lord to giue the land to inherit by lot to the children of Israel: and my lord was commanded by the Lord, to giue the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother vnto his daughters.
If they bee married to any of the sonnes of the other tribes of the children of Israel, then shall their inheritance be taken away from the inheritance of our fathers, and shalbe put vnto the inheritance of the tribe whereof they shalbe: so shall it be taken away from the lot of our inheritance.
Also when the Iubile of the children of Israel commeth, then shall their inheritance be put vnto the inheritance of the tribe whereof they shall be: so shall their inheritance be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.
Then Moses commanded the children of Israel, according to the word of the Lord, saying, The tribe of the sonnes of Ioseph haue said well.
This is the thing that the Lord hath commanded, concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, They shall be wiues, to whome they thinke best, onely to the familie of the tribe of their father shall they marry:
So shall not the inheritance of the children of Israel remoue from tribe to tribe, for euery one of the children of Israel shall ioyne himselfe to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.
And euery daughter that possesseth any inheritance of the tribes of the children of Israel, shalbe wife vnto one of the familie of the tribe of her father: that the children of Israel may enioye euery man the inheritance of their fathers.
Neither shall the inheritance go about from tribe to tribe: but euery one of the tribes of the childre of Israel shall sticke to his own inheritace.
As the Lord commanded Moses, so did the daughters of Zelophehad.
For Mahlah, Tirzah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Noah the daughters of Zelophehad were married vnto their fathers brothers sonnes,
They were wiues to certaine of the families of the sonnes of Manasseh the sonne of Ioseph: so their inheritance remained in the tribe of the familie of their father.
These are the commandements and lawes which the Lord commanded by the hand of Moses, vnto the children of Israel in the plaine of Moab, by Iorden toward Iericho.

Numbers chapter 27 verses 12 thru 23
Againe the Lord said vnto Moses, Go vp into this mount of Abarim, and behold ye lande which I haue giuen vnto the children of Israel.
And when thou hast seene it, thou shalt be gathered vnto thy people also, as Aaron thy brother was gathered.
For ye were disobedient vnto my worde in the desert of Zin, in the strife of the assemblie, to sanctifie me in the waters before their eyes. That is the water of Meribah in Kadesh in the wildernesse of Zin.

Then Moses spake vnto the Lord, saying,
Let the Lord God of the spirits of all flesh appoint a man ouer the Congregation,
Who may goe out and in before them, and leade them out and in, that the Congregation of the Lord be not as sheepe, which haue not a shepheard.
And the Lord said vnto Moses, Take thee Ioshua the sonne of Nun, in whom is the Spirite, and put thine handes vpon him,

And set him before Eleazar the Priest, and before all the Congregation, and giue him a charge in their sight.
And giue him of thy glory, that all the Congregation of ye children of Israel may obey.
And he shall stande before Eleazar the Priest, who shall aske counsell for him by the iudgement of Vrim before the Lord: at his worde they shall goe out, and at his worde they shall come in, both he, and all the children of Israel with him and all the Congregation.
So Moses did as the Lord had commanded him, and he tooke Ioshua, and set him before Eleazar the Priest, and before all the Congregation.
Then he put his handes vpon him, and gaue him a charge, as the Lord had spoken by the hand of Moses.

3. Torah Spiritual Teaching Notes

Numbers chapter 27:

The daughters of Zelophehad the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh the son of Joseph, came forward, and his daughters’ names were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.
2They stood before Moses and before Eleazar the kohen and before the chieftains and the entire congregation at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, saying,
3“Our father died in the desert, but he was not in the assembly that banded together against the Lord in Korah’s assembly, but he died for his own sin, and he had no sons.
4Why should our father’s name be eliminated from his family because he had no son? Give us a portion along with our father’s brothers. “
5So Moses brought their case before the Lord.
6The Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
7Zelophehad’s daughters speak justly. You shall certainly give them a portion of inheritance along with their father’s brothers, and you shall transfer their father’s inheritance to them.
8Speak to the children of Israel saying: If a man dies and has no son, you shall transfer his inheritance to his daughter.
9If he has no daughter, you shall give over his inheritance to his brothers.
10If he has no brothers, you shall give over his inheritance to his father’s brothers.
11If his father has no brothers, you shall give over his inheritance to the kinsman closest to him in his family, who shall inherit it. This shall remain a decreed statute, as the Lord commanded Moses.
12The Lord said to Moses, “Go up to this mount Abarim and look at the land that I have given to the children of Israel.
13And when you have seen it, you too will be gathered to your people, just as Aaron your brother was gathered.
14Because you disobeyed My command in the desert of Zin when the congregation quarreled, [when you were] to sanctify Me through the water before their eyes; these were the waters of dispute at Kadesh, in the desert of Zin.
15Moses spoke to the Lord, saying:
16“Let the Lord, the God of spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the congregation,
17who will go forth before them and come before them, who will lead them out and bring them in, so that the congregation of the Lord will not be like sheep without a shepherd.”
18The Lord said to Moses, “Take for yourself Joshua the son of Nun, a man of spirit, and you shall lay your hand upon him.
19And you shall present him before Eleazar the kohen and before the entire congregation, and you shall command him in their presence.
20You shall bestow some of your majesty upon him so that all the congregation of the children of Israel will take heed.
21He shall stand before Eleazar the kohen and seek [counsel from] him through the judgment of the Urim before the Lord. By his word they shall go, and by his word they shall come; he and all Israel with him, and the entire congregation.”
22Moses did as the Lord had commanded him, and he took Joshua and presented him before Eleazar the kohen and before the entire congregation.
23He laid his hands upon him and commanded him, in accordance with what the Lord had spoken to Moses.

Welcome the following is a brief review of this Bible Study. 1. This BLOG post will have the resources and sources links for the Season 5 Bible Studies . 2. All Books used and Readings from during Live Bible Study can be found on Our Website: Marie Speaks GOD’s Grace. Live in the Season 5 portion of the website. 3. After Live Bible Studies have completed: I will upload to Rumble, and post link in this BLOG. How we conduct Bible Studies here: We believe G-D has called each of us to search matters out. (It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, And the glory of a king to plumb a matter. Like the heavens in their height, like the earth in its depth, Is the mind of kings—unfathomable.. Proverbs 25:2 -3) This is one reason why here at Marie Speaks G-D’s Grace Bible Study, we review several historical references and resources, of which we provide links and or screen shots for others to study at their leisure. We have been directed by G-D Wonderful and Almighty, to go Book by Book, Verse by Verse; sharing HIS Torah and Tanakh. We believe as directed by G-D Our Heavenly Father, learning and growing in Torah and Tanakh leads to understanding and wisdom; this shall only be achieved in reading, studying, and sharing HIS Word for ourselves; not relying on man. Learning, growing, and studying with OUR L-D is to be done with others that are like minded, but more so during our personal time. The BLOGs are written to assist those just beginning to study the BIBLE as a starting point. The Live or recorded Bible Studies are to cover and release opportunities and guidance, but ultimately is ones own personal responsibility to rule, govern, and be purposeful in their relationship with G-D. Proverbs 22: 4 thru 6 The effect of humility is fear of the LORD, Wealth, honor, and life. Thorns and snares are in the path of the crooked; He who values his life will keep far from them. Train a lad in the way he ought to go; He will not swerve from it even in old age. Ezekiel 18:20thru 22 The person who sins, he alone shall die. A child shall not share the burden of a parent’s guilt, nor shall a parent share the burden of a child’s guilt; the righteousness of the righteous shall be accounted to him alone, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be accounted to him alone. Moreover, if the wicked one repents of all the sins that he committed and keeps all My laws and does what is just and right, he shall live; he shall not die. None of the transgressions he committed shall be remembered against him; because of the righteousness he has practiced, he shall live. Is it my desire that a wicked person shall die?—says the L-d G-D. It is rather that he shall turn back from his ways and live. May HaShem, Blessed be He continue to Bless us all and may we all be forever written in the Book of Life. O'Amein and O'Amein Let US Begin!!!! https://www.minds.com/MarieSpeaksatParadeRest
