4:1And the Lord spake vnto Moses, and to Aaron, saying,
4:2Take the summe of the sonnes of Kohath from among the sonnes of Leui, after their families, and houses of their fathers,
4:3From thirtie yeere olde and aboue, euen vntill fiftie yeere olde, all that enter into the assemblie to do the worke in the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
4:4This shall be the office of the sonnes of Kohath in the Tabernacle of the Congregation about the Holiest of all.
4:5When the hoste remoueth, then Aaron and his sonnes shall come and take downe the couering vaile, and shall couer the Arke of the Testimonie therewith.

What is the definition of Testimonie?

What is the definition of Testament?

What is the definition of Ark?

What is the definition of Ark of the Covenant, Testimony,  or of GOD?

4:6 And they shall put thereon a couering of badgers skinnes, and shall spread vpon it a cloth altogether of blewe silke, and put to the barres thereof:

The TORAH, states the covering was to be turquoise blue wool vice silk. The color of the sky or Sea of Galilee.

These color as ordered by GOD Almighty must have. Spiritual importance and there is  most likely a supernatural importance. What the importance is….. I have not yet found.

What is badgers skins? or tachash-hide? or

According to a traditional teaching,[7] the Tachash was most probably a clean animal,[8] with a multicolored skin.[2][3] Some sages (Tannaim) speculated that it was identical with the keresh, a legendary unicorn.[9] It is said to have been so enormous that out of one tachash skin a seamless tent-curtain could be made, thirty cubits long and four cubits wide[2][9][10] (45 ft. x 6 ft; 13.716 m x 1.8288 m).[11] Midrash Tanchuma 6 relates the discussion between Rabbi Yehudah and Rabbi Nechemiah, in which R. Yehudah stated that taḥash was a huge kosher (ritually pure) animal in the desert, with one horn in its forehead, and a hide of six colors, from which the Israelites under Moses made the curtains of the Mishkan (Tabernacle). “They captured one of them and from its skin made a covering for the ark.” R. Nechemiah responded that taḥash was a miraculous beast that was hidden away after it was used in the Mishkan. He proposed that it was necessary to create such a beast because it is written that the curtains of the Mishkan were 30 cubits long, and he asked, “What animal hides are 30 cubits long?” He concluded that the Taḥash was a momentary miracle that was hidden away soon after it happened. Rabbi Abun said, “It was called a unicorn[12][13] Rabbi Meir gave a more detailed description of its appearance and coloring, including some of the marks of a clean animal, a multicolored skin, and a horn-like protrusion on its forehead: “Now since he says that it had one horn in its forehead, it follows that it was clean.[4] According to some sages the Tachash was most probably a clean wild beast rather than a domestic animal, and they support the opinion that all wild animals that have sharp pointed hoofs, and have horns forked, or have horns rounded, notched (the notches running together), and pointed, are clean.[14] Some sages speculated that the word תחשׁ taḥash was taken from חש ḥish, “fleet”, suggesting that the Tachash could have been a species of swift antelope.[3] According to the rabbinical sources,[9] the Tachash was a distinctly separate species of animal[15] which disappeared as soon as the demands of the Tabernacle for skins for the outer covering had been fulfilled.[2][4][12][13]

“This was a species of animal that existed only for a [short] time.” —Rashi‘s commentary (Exodus 25:5).[3][16]

What does the JESUS say about good and wicked servants?

In the last Bible Study we review the definition of Priest or Priesthood. In the definition, we reviewed how Priesthood was to be a servanthood to GOD’s Communities, but also serval other rules for GOD’s Glory.

Keeping the definition in mind we will review :

Matthew 25:14-46 (Geneva Bible 1560/1599)

25:14For the kingdome of heauen is as a man that going into a strange countrey, called his seruants, and deliuered to them his goods.
25:15And vnto one he gaue fiue talents, and to an other two, and to another one, to euery man after his own ability, and straightway went from home.
25:16Then he that had receiued the fiue talents, went and occupied with them, and gained other fiue talents.
25:17Likewise also, he that receiued two, he also gained other two.
25:18But he that receiued that one, went and digged it in the earth, and hid his masters money.
25:19But after a long season, the master of those seruants came, and reckoned with them.
25:20Then came he that had receiued fiue talents, and brought other fiue talents, saying, Master, thou deliueredst vnto me fiue talents: behold, I haue gained with them other fiue talents.
25:21Then his master saide vnto him, It is well done good seruant and faithfull, Thou hast bene faithfull in litle, I will make thee ruler ouer much: enter into thy masters ioy.
25:22Also he that had receiued two talents, came, and said, Master, thou deliueredst vnto me two talents: behold, I haue gained two other talets more.
25:23His master saide vnto him, It is well done good seruant, and faithfull, Thou hast bene faithfull in litle, I will make thee ruler ouer much: enter into thy masters ioy.
25:24Then he which had receiued the one talent, came, and said, Master, I knewe that thou wast an hard man, which reapest where thou sowedst not, and gatherest where thou strawedst not:
25:25I was therefore afraide, and went, and hid thy talent in the earth: behold, thou hast thine owne.
25:26And his master answered, and said vnto him, Thou euill seruant, and slouthfull, thou knewest that I reape where I sowed not, and gather where I strawed not.
25:27Thou oughtest therefore to haue put my money to ye exchangers, and then at my comming should I haue receiued mine owne with vantage.
25:28Take therefore the talent from him, and giue it vnto him which hath tenne talents.
25:29For vnto euery man that hath, it shall be giuen, and he shall haue abundance, and from him that hath not, euen that he hath, shalbe taken away.
25:30Cast therefore that vnprofitable seruant into vtter darkenes: there shalbe weeping and gnasshing of teeth.
25:31And when the Sonne of man commeth in his glory, and all the holy Angels with him, then shall he sit vpon the throne of his glorie,
25:32And before him shalbe gathered all nations, and he shall seperate them one from another, as a shepheard separateth the sheepe from ye goates.
25:33And he shall set the sheepe on his right hand, and the goates on the left.
25:34Then shall ye king say to them on his right hand, Come ye blessed of my father: take the inheritance of the kingdome prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
25:35For I was an hungred, and ye gaue me meate: I thirsted, and ye gaue me drinke: I was a stranger, and ye tooke me in vnto you.
25:36I was naked, and ye clothed me: I was sicke, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came vnto me.
25:37Then shall the righteous answere him, saying, Lord, when sawe we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or a thirst, and gaue thee drinke?
25:38And when sawe we thee a stranger, and tooke thee in vnto vs? or naked, and clothed thee?
25:39Or when sawe we thee sicke, or in prison, and came vnto thee?
25:40And the King shall answere, and say vnto them, Verely I say vnto you, in as much as ye haue done it vnto one of the least of these my brethre, ye haue done it to me.
25:41Then shall he say vnto them on ye left hand, Depart from me ye cursed, into euerlasting fire, which is prepared for the deuill and his angels.
25:42For I was an hungred, and ye gaue me no meate: I thirsted, and ye gaue me no drinke:
25:43I was a stranger, and ye tooke me not in vnto you: I was naked, and ye clothed me not: sicke, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
25:44Then shall they also answere him, saying, Lord, when sawe we thee an hungred, or a thirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sicke, or in prison, and did not minister vnto thee?
25:45Then shall he answere them, and say, Verely I say vnto you, in as much as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
25:46And these shall goe into euerlasting paine, and the righteous into life eternall.

Numbers ch 4

4:7And vpon ye table of shew bread they shall spread a cloth of blewe silke, and put thereon the dishes, and the incense cups, and goblets, and couerings to couer it with, and the bread shall be thereon continually:
4:8And they shall spread vpon them a couering of skarlet, and couer the same with a couering of badgers skinnes, and put to the barres thereof.
4:9Then they shall take a cloth of blewe silke, and couer the candlesticke of light with his lampes and his snuffers, and his snuffedishes, and al the oyle vessels thereof, which they occupie about it.
4:10So they shall put it, and all the instruments thereof in a couering of badgers skinnes, and put it vpon the barres.
4:11Also vpon the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blewe silke, and couer it with a couering of badgers skinnes, and put to the barres thereof.
4:12And they shall take all the instruments of the ministerie wherewith they minister in the Sanctuarie, and put them in a cloth of blew silke, and couer the with a couering of badgers skinnes, and put them on the barres.
4:13Also they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth vpon it,

4:14And shall put vpon it all the instruments thereof, which they occupie about it: the censers, the fleshhookes and the besomes, and the basens, euen al the instruments of the altar and they shall spread vpon it a couering of badgers skinnes, and put to the barres of it.

4:15And when Aaron and his sonnes haue made an ende of couering the Sanctuarie, and al the instruments of the Sanctuarie, at the remouing of the host, afterward the sonnes of Kohath shall come to beare it, but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they dye. This is the charge of the sonnes of Kohath in the Tabernacle of the Congregation.

Sons of the Priest of the Tabernacles were permitted to assist in the carrying of the Tabernacle items, as long as the sons of the Priest made no skin to Tabernacle item contact and or didn’t directly look upon the items.

4:16And to the office of Eleazar the sonne of Aaron the Priest pertaineth the oyle for the light, and the sweete incense and the dayly meat offring, and the anointing oyle, with the ouersight of all the Tabernacle, and of all that therein is, both in the Sanctuarie and in all the instruments thereof.
4:17And the Lord spake vnto Moses and to Aaron, saying,
4:18Ye shall not cut off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Leuites:
4:19But thus do vnto them, that they may liue and not die, when they come neere to the most holy things: let Aaron and his sonnes come and appoynt them, euery one to his office, and to his charge.
4:20But let them not goe in, to see when the Sanctuarie is folden vp, lest they die.
4:21And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
4:22Take also ye summe of the sonnes of Gershon, euery one by the houses of their fathers throughout their families:
4:23From thirtie yere old and aboue, vntil fiftie yere old shalt thou nomber them, al that enter into the assemblie for to do seruice in the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
4:24This shall be the seruice of the families of the Gershonites, to serue and to beare.
4:25They shall beare the curtaines of the Tabernacle, and the Tabernacle of the Congregation, his couering, and the couering of badgers skinnes, that is on hie vpon it, and the vayle of the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation:
4:26The curtaines also of the court, and the vaile of the entring in of the gate of the court, which is neere the Tabernacle and neere the altar round about, with their cordes, and all the instruments for their seruice, and all that is made for them: so shall they serue.
4:27At the commandement of Aaron and his sonnes shall all the seruice of the sonnes of ye Gershonites bee done, in all their charges and in all their seruice, and ye shall appoynt them to keepe all their charges.
4:28This is the seruice of the families of the sonnes of the Gershonites in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and their watch shall be vnder the hande of Ithamar the sonne of Aaron the Priest.

4:29Thou shalt nomber the sonnes of Merari by their families, and by the houses of their fathers:
4:30From thirty yere olde and aboue, euen vnto fiftie yere olde shalt thou nomber the, all that enter into the assemblie, to doe the seruice of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
4:31And this is their office and charge according to all their seruice in the Tabernacle of the Congregation: the boardes of the Tabernacle with the barres thereof, and his pillars, and his sockets,
4:32And the pillars rounde about the court, with their sockets and their pinnes, and their cords, with all their instruments, euen for all their seruice: and by name ye shall recken the instruments of their office and charge.
4:33This is the seruice of the families of the sonnes of Merari, according to all their seruice in the Tabernacle of the Congregation vnder the hand of Ithamar the sonne of Aaron the Priest.
4:34Then Moses and Aaron and the princes of the Congregation nombred the sonnes of the Kohathites, by their families and by the houses of their fathers,
4:35From thirtie yeere olde and aboue, euen vnto fiftie yere olde, all that enter into the assemblie for the seruice of the Tabernacle of ye Congregation.
4:36So the nombers of the throughout their families were two thousande, seuen hundreth and fiftie.
4:37These are the nombers of the families of the Kohathites, al that serue in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, which Moses and Aaron did nomber according to the commandement of the Lord by the hand of Moses.
4:38Also the nombers of the sonnes of Gershon throughout their families and houses of their fathers,
4:39From thirtie yere olde and vpwarde, euen vnto fiftie yere olde: all that enter into the assemblie for the seruice of the Tabernacle of the Cogregation.
4:40So the nombers of them by their families, and by the houses of their fathers were two thousand sixe hundreth and thirtie.
4:41These are the nombers of the families of the sonnes of Gershon: of all that did seruice in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, whom Moses and Aaron did nomber according to the commandement of the Lord.
4:42The nombers also of the families of the sonnes of Merari by their families, and by the houses of their fathers,
4:43From thirtie yeere olde and vpwarde, euen vnto fiftie yeere olde: all that enter into the assemblie for the seruice of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
4:44So the nombers of them by their families were three thousand, and two hundreth.
4:45These are the summes of ye families of the sonnes of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron nombred according to the commandement of the Lord, by the hand of Moses.
4:46So all the nombers of the Leuites, which Moses, and Aaron, and the princes of Israel nombred by their families and by the houses of their fathers,
4:47From thirtie yere olde and vpward, euen to fiftie yeere olde, euery one that came to doe his duetie, office, seruice and charge in the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
4:48So the nombers of them were eight thousand, fiue hundreth and foure score.
4:49According to the commandement of the Lord by the hand of Moses did Aaron nomber them, euery one according to his seruice, and according to his charge. Thus were they of that tribe nombred, as the Lord commanded Moses.

1The Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron saying:
2Make a count of the sons of Kohath from among the children of Levi by their families, according to their fathers’ houses.
3From the age of thirty until the age of fifty, all who enter the service, to do work in the Tent of Meeting.
4The following is the service of the sons of Kohath in the Tent of Meeting-the Holy of Holies.
5When the camp is about to travel, Aaron and his sons shall come and take down the dividing screen; with it, they shall cover the Ark of the Testimony.
6They shall place upon it a covering of tachash skin and on top of that they shall spread a cloth of pure blue wool. Then they shall put its poles in place.
7They shall spread a cloth of blue wool on the Show Table and they shall place on it the forms, spoons, supports, and covering frames; the continual bread can then be placed upon it.
8They shall spread upon them a cloth of crimson wool and cover that with a covering of tachash skin. Then they shall put its poles into place.
9They shall take a blue cloth and cover the menorah for lighting and its lamps, its tongs, and its scoops, and all its oil vessels used in performing its service.
10They shall put it and its vessels into a covering of tachash skin and place it on a pole.
11They shall spread a cloth of blue wool over the golden altar and cover it with a covering of tachash skin, and then set its poles in place.
12They shall then take all the vessels used in the Holy, put them into a cloth of blue wool, cover them with a covering of tachash skin, and put them onto a pole.
13They shall remove the ashes from the altar and spread a cloth of purple wool over it.
14They shall place on it all the utensils with which they minister upon it: the scoops, the forks, the shovels, and the basins-all the implements of the altar. Then they shall spread over it a covering of tachash skin and set its poles into place.
15Aaron and his sons shall finish covering the Holy and all the vessels of the Holy when the camp is set to travel, and following that, the sons of Kohath shall come to carry [them], but they shall not touch the sacred objects for [then] they will die. These are the burden of the sons of Kohath for the Tent of Meeting.
16The charge of Eleazar the son of Aaron the kohen: oil for lighting, the incense of spices, the continual [daily] meal offering, and the anointing oil; the charge for the entire Mishkan and all that is in it, of the Holy and its furnishings.
17The Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron saying:
18Do not cause the tribe of the families of Kohath to be cut off from among the Levites.
19Do this for them, so they should live and not die, when they approach the Holy of Holies. Aaron and his sons shall first come and appoint each man individually to his task and his load.
20They shall not come in to see when the holy [vessels] are being wrapped up, lest they die.
21The Lord spoke to Moses saying:
22Take a census of the sons of Gershon, of them too, following their fathers’ houses, according to their families.
23From the age of thirty years and upward, until the age of fifty years you shall count them, all who come to join the legion, to perform service in the Tent of Meeting.
24This is the service of the Gershonite families to serve and to carry.
25They shall carry the curtains of the Mishkan and the Tent of Meeting, its covering and the tachash skin covering overlaid upon it, and the screen for the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
26The hangings of the courtyard, the screen at the entrance of the gate of the courtyard which is around the Mishkan and the altar, their ropes, all the work involved, and everything that is made for them, and thus shall they serve.
27All the service of the sons of Gershon shall be by the instruction of Aaron and his sons, regarding all their burden and all their service. You shall designate their entire burden as their charge.
28This is the service of the families of the sons of Gershon in the Tent of Meeting, and their charge, which was under the supervision of Ithamar, the son of Aaron the kohen.
29[As for] the sons of Merari, you shall count them by their families, according to their fathers’ houses.
30From the age of thirty years and upward until the age of fifty years, you shall count them, all who come to the legion, to perform service in the Tent of Meeting.
31This is the charge of their burden for all their service in the Tent of Meeting: the planks of the Mishkan, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets.
32The pillars of the surrounding courtyard, their sockets, their pegs, and their ropes, all their implements for all the work involved. You shall designate by name the implements charged to them for their burden.
33This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari for all their service in the Tent of Meeting, which was under the supervision of Ithamar the son of Aaron the kohen.
34Moses, Aaron, and the chieftains of the congregation counted the sons of the Kohathites, according to their families and their fathers’ houses.
35From the age of thirty years and upward, until the age of fifty years, all who come to the legion, for service in the Tent of Meeting.
36Their tally, according to their families: two thousand, seven hundred and fifty.
37These are the numbers of the Kohathite families, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, who were counted by Moses and Aaron as directed by the Lord to Moses.
38The tally of the sons of Gershon, according to their families and their fathers’ houses.
39From the age of thirty years and upward, until the age of fifty years, all who come to the legion, for service in the Tent of Meeting.
40Their total, according to their families and their fathers’ houses: two thousand, six hundred and thirty.
41These are the numbers of the families of the sons of Gershon, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moses and Aaron counted as directed by the Lord.
42The tally of the families of the sons of Merari, according to their families and their fathers’ houses.
43From the age of thirty years and upward, until the age of fifty years, all who come to the legion, for work in the Tent of Meeting.
44Their tally, according to their families: three thousand two hundred.
45These are the numbers of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron counted as directed by the Lord to Moses.
46All the numbers whom by Moses, Aaron, and the chieftains of Israel counted the Levites according to their families and their fathers’ houses,
47from the age of thirty years and upward until the age of fifty years, who are fit to perform the service for the service and the work of carrying, in the Tent of Meeting.
48Their tally: eight thousand, five hundred and eighty.
49As directed by the Lord, they were appointed by Moses, each man to his service and his burden; they were counted as the Lord had commanded Moses.
THE HAFTARAH FOR BAMIDBAR 1180
1 SAMUEL 20:18-42
And Jonathan said to him, “Tomorrow is the new moon, and you will be remembered, for your seat will be vacant.
19And for three days, you shall hide very well, and you shall come to the place where you hid on the day of work, and you shall stay beside the traveler’s stone.
20And I shall shoot three arrows to the side, as though I shot at a mark.
21And behold, I shall send the youth, (saying,) ‘Go, find the arrows.’ If I say to the youth, ‘Behold, the arrows are on this side of you,’ take it and come, for it is well with you, and there is nothing the matter, as the Lord lives.
22But, if I say thus to the youth, ‘Behold, the arrows are beyond you,’ go! For the Lord has sent you away.
23And (concerning) the matter which we have spoken, I and you, behold, the Lord is between me and you forever.”
24And David hid in the field, and when it was the new moon, Saul sat down to the meal to eat.
25And the king sat upon his seat, as at other times, upon the seat by the wall, and Jonathan arose, and Abner sat down beside Saul, and David’s place was vacant.
26And Saul did not say anything on that day, for he thought, “It is an incident; he is not clean, for he is not clean.”
27And it was, on the morrow of the new moon, the second (day of the month), that David’s place was vacant, and Saul said to Jonathan, his son, “Why has not the son of Jesse come to the meal either yesterday or today?”
28And Jonathan answered Saul, “David asked leave of me (to go) to Bethlehem.
29And he said, ‘Let me go away now, for we have a family sacrifice in the city, and he, my brother, commanded me, and now, if I have found favor in your eyes, let me slip away now, and see my brothers. ‘ He, therefore, did not come to the king’s table.”
30And Saul’s wrath was kindled against Jonathan, and he said to him, “You son of a straying woman deserving of punishment! Did I not know that you choose the son of Jesse, to your shame and to the shame of your mother’s nakedness?
31For all the days that the son of Jesse is living on the earth, you and your kingdom will not be established. And now, send and take him to me, for he is condemned to death.”
32And Jonathan answered Saul his father, and said to him, “Why should he be put to death? What has he done?”
33And Saul cast the spear upon him to strike him; and Jonathan knew that it had been decided upon by his father, to put David to death.
34And Jonathan arose from the table in fierce anger; and he did not eat any food on the second day of the new moon, for he was grieved concerning David, for his father had put him to shame.
35And it was in the morning, that Jonathan went out at David’s appointed time, and a small boy was with him.
36And he said to his boy, “Run, find now the arrows which I shoot.” The boy ran; and he shot the arrow to cause it to go beyond him.
37And the lad came up to the place of the arrow, which Jonathan had shot. And Jonathan called after the lad, and said, “Isn’t the arrow beyond you?”
38And Jonathan called after the lad, “Quickly, hasten, do not stand!” And Jonathan’s lad gathered up the arrows, and came to his master.
39And the lad knew nothing; only Jonathan and David knew the matter.
40And Jonathan gave his weapons to his boy, and said to him, “Go, bring (them) to the city.”
41The lad departed, and David arose from (a place) toward the south; and he fell upon his face to the ground three times, and prostrated himself three times. And they kissed one another, and wept one with the other, until David exceeded.
42And Jonathan said to David, “Go in peace! (And bear in mind) that we have sworn both of us in the name of the Lord, saying, ‘May the Lord be between me and you, and between my descendants and your descendants forever.’ “

(It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, And the glory of a king to plumb a matter. Like the heavens in their height, like the earth in its depth, Is the mind of kings—unfathomable.. Proverbs 25:2 -3) This is one reason why here at Marie Speaks G-D’s Grace Bible Study, we review several historical references and resources, of which we provide links and or screen shots for others to study at their leisure. We have been directed by G-D Wonderful and Almighty, to go Book by Book, Verse by Verse; sharing HIS Torah and Tanakh. We believe as directed by G-D Our Heavenly Father, learning and growing in Torah and Tanakh leads to understanding and wisdom; this shall only be achieved in reading, studying, and sharing HIS Word for ourselves; not relying on man. Learning, growing, and studying with OUR L-D is to be done with others that are like minded, but more so during our personal time. The BLOGs are written to assist those just beginning to study the BIBLE as a starting point. The Live or recorded Bible Studies are to cover and release opportunities and guidance, but ultimately is ones own personal responsibility to rule, govern, and be purposeful in their relationship with G-D. Proverbs 22: 4 thru 6 The effect of humility is fear of the LORD, Wealth, honor, and life. Thorns and snares are in the path of the crooked; He who values his life will keep far from them. Train a lad in the way he ought to go; He will not swerve from it even in old age. Ezekiel 18:20thru 22 The person who sins, he alone shall die. A child shall not share the burden of a parent’s guilt, nor shall a parent share the burden of a child’s guilt; the righteousness of the righteous shall be accounted to him alone, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be accounted to him alone. Moreover, if the wicked one repents of all the sins that he committed and keeps all My laws and does what is just and right, he shall live; he shall not die. None of the transgressions he committed shall be remembered against him; because of the righteousness he has practiced, he shall live. Is it my desire that a wicked person shall die?—says the L-d G-D. It is rather that he shall turn back from his ways and live. May HaShem, Blessed be He continue to Bless us all and may we all be forever written in the Book of Life. O'Amein and O'Amein Let US Begin!!!! https://www.minds.com/MarieSpeaksatParadeRest
